You can do this with my Drip Campaigns application.

So even more money to spend?
Why isn't such a feature inbuilt with having automated tasks, if someone can make an app like rules automated why can't you? I don't understand why this needs to be outsourced, I get for things like mailchimp and the like but other inbuilt actions.

Absolutely no benefit to the average user/community. I wish you'd take on more ideas to what people are asking for and expanding on it. We had a previous discussion on this on a topic about not seeing features that people have been asking for years with the usual outcome of 'we can't see it being popular', yet we see new features/addons like this?

Sorry for being negative, but feedback is feedback. (Sorry if I've completely missed the point in this app)

I am mainly interested in doing the internal automation for now. I.e. replacing the Rules app.

Nice addition but if only they would go a little further to really enhance subscriptions. Just to again name a few...lol

I do not like Chrome solutions. I am already forced to change Chrome language every time I switch between German, Russian or English projects to get date/time fields and timezone displayed correctly. Chrome has made the life of bilingual really difficult. Switching between dark and light would be additional pain. I wish there were cookies that would just remember on what website I make what settings and will not change it every time trying to guess what is the best for me. These guesses fail most of the time.

The design of a new ACP has very little relevance.
I would be glad if you create an emergency ACP - when the site is down and the ACP looks "scary" or inaccessible, start an emergency ACP with access to a support tool ...🙂

If we really want to modernize things, we should have a "Night Mode" switch in the corner.  (I think there's a theme in the marketplace like this, actually)
Looks good!  Appreciate the attention to detail with things like this.  👍

    Thank you for the response.
Concerning the no modifications part. Why is that not an option? After you build the version of the app locked to my community, could I not then have access to the code to make modifications (similar to the web app version)? And then it would be my responsibility that when you release an update for the app I would incorporate it alongside my modifications? Similar to how I do with the web app currently. (It might get complicated, but that's my problem).
Essentially, I think it would be nice if you copied a similar business model that you use for the web version. As for instance, if I could not make any modifications to the web app, I would not be a customer of yours. The same case applies for the mobile app.
You posted this as I was typing my question. This probably answers most of the above 😄
Please do consider offering some kind of partnership service for more customizability. I'm sure businesses will be willing to pay a higher fee for it.

My site uses all custom apps. I am in need for good mobile experience like true native apps can give.
Any chance you will make the source code for this new app available for download so sites like mine can use as a starting point to building a custom app for our highly customized sites?
Open sourcing the new app would be much appreciated. I'm willing to pay for the source code if it means I can build native apps for my site.
I was planning on building a PWA for my site, but a native app (in addition to the PWA) would be great. I still need the PWA app for other platforms like Desktop.

I like the idea of going mobile. But I do not like:
having one app for all communities no possibility to customize the look any style no possibility to use custom extensions, plugins and so on

To make this complete we need to be able to have an email list signup and the ability to import email addresses, without a full forum account.
For example, if we go to a conference and have a business card raffle, all email addresses on those cards get entered into our database. They aren't forum accounts, but they are still valuable leads we would like to send mail to. If you are trying to sell someone something it is easier to get them to enter their email address and press submit than it is to create a forum account. It's all about the customer acquisition funnel.
We would save $2000 a year if you can make this replace MailChimp.

You can Improve the "Rank" system, making it more similar to "level system" of Steam as example.
By this way, members will be able to upgrade with more than posting content, using custom criteria to earn "points" that will be used to level-up. And also add an interface to show members their actual account level and how many points they need to upgrade to next level/rank.

It's a first step, though I'd wish to see more important features like automatic unsubscription of bounce emails.
Bounce email handling would be really helpful, for those who don't use commercial email providers. The plugins in the marketplace can't handle them efficiently, either they are only made for paid providers or you have to manually add email addresses to a list (...my list contains more than 100.000 subscribers)

I second this. I'd love to see a method to handle the bounced email automatically, with a method of prompting the user to update their email (maybe before being able to post on the site any further).

Would love to see a feature added to detect bounced emails and stop sending emails to those users. After moving to Invision, a number of old users ended up generating thousands of bounce notifications when they (somehow) got subscribed to emails they didn't get on our old platform

+1 on managing invoices. It'd be nice to create an invoice from the API, have a paypal url returned or a post request to pass credit card details under SSL to complete purchases off site.

From the point of view of managing subscriptions. So, the ability to disable renewals, upgrade/downgrade.
It would be awesome to be able to sell a product/subscription and manage them using the API.

Return content a guest would see if no token has been sent with the request. Requesting the forum list (/api/forums/forums/ does not make any sense at the moment b/c you can not differentiate if you have a category or if an item is a parent of another one. Please organize the returned structure in a better way or give the possibility to organize the returned structure via parameters. Return unread content for authenticated members Return the topic a post is related to Upload images and other media Mark topic / posts as read Flag whether a topic / post is marked as read or not
