I configured: show primary group: ZZZ + show secondary group: ZZZ Result: it only shows USER AAA (ZZZ = primary group), unfortunately not BBB (ZZZ = secondary group), it appears as if it doesn't parse the secondary group, if the secondary group is the same as in primary group. Or it doesn't parse the secondary group at all... I'm on IPS Suite 4.1.19.4 Thanks.

I read on the marketplace downloads page: 4.2 beta or higher is required, but I'm a customer in the cloud (CIC) and don't know how to upgrade there to the 4.2 beta. Hi, I'm considering buying this application, but I have some questions concerning the features: Looking at the screenshots, I can't see if sorting is available f.e. for birthday fields, or other custom profile fields (numbers). F.e. I would like to publish a separate birthday list, ordered by birthday dates. Or the (real) member's last names alphabetically. Predefined sorting options should be a default for each independent list. If users enter their contents in different "custom profile fields" with different "character lengths", is it guaranteed in the member frontend boxes, they all have the same height and width and the profile field values are shown completely (I mean: they may not be shown in single lines with an "..." or "more" at the end. For some custom profile fields, it should display the whole value/information. Or better: the maximum length of the field display length in the lists should be configurable for each field to show. Are all frontend boxes in the same format (width/length)? Are the boxes designed to match an overall dimensions standard - despite different content lengths? Can I add all custom profile fields? Is this configurable for each list independently? With custom profile fields, I have the regular ACP option "Show publicly on member's profile". Is there a way to grant special (VIP) user groups the permission, to view these protected informations in member lists, that are only available for them? I mean: Show Publicly -> OFF; but in member lists for VIP groups, these field values are shown. Is it possible to have some separator lines or clear lines in between custom profile fields? Or between custom profile field groups? Is it possible to show the nickname under the avatar? Not next to it... Instead of the nickname next to the avatar, can I use the (real) "full name", entered in a custom profile field? Is it possible to show the "primary group name" under the member name? Any export options of individual lists planned (csv) for future releases? Sorry for the long list of questions, but I try to identify, if the tool is suited for my requirements. Also, maybe some of my points are of interest for coming updates and future releases. Thanks.

To emphasize the suggestion for individual user tags... In some situations, I would like to rename the bookmarked topic title, to give it more meaning to myself. A lot newbies name there topic names like "help" or "question" or... Maybe the topic inside is great, but from the outside you just don't feel what will be inside... some users are using different languages, so it would be comfortable, to add a "tag" in their own language by using individual tags, I would achieve better categorization options, folders are great (if you can name them individually) but in combination with individual tags, it would be premium Another great feature would be: import/export bookmarks (as a list) With this feature, you would build enormous trust, as admins & users would be able to backup their bookmarks. We all know, plugins in the marketplace come and go, and if I introduce such a bookmarking feature to my community, it would be a great gain to at least being able to export my bookmark lists (private/public, category name, URL, individual tags), just in case it will stop being supported.

I would be interested, how bookmarks albums/directories look like. As I understood it, you can create directories to organize bookmarks. Like in a browser. Please add more screenshots. And is there any visual indication how the bookmarks are defined (private/public...) And is it possible to define individual tags for bookmarks (by the bookmarker). I would like to use a function, different from the tags given by the author, to define individual tags for bookmarks (my own tags) the way I find my contents again via a tag search for my own tags. That would be a great feature.

Maybe remove or strip quotes. In some cases, if users have long quotes, you don't event get an idea about the new post... If there are long quotes it limits already the quotes and doesn't show new contents at all. Just an idea... Happy easter! to you

Hi, I'm referencing my former post, as I first required time to become clear with my thoughts and requirements for future projects I already think about... In the meanwhile, I noticed IPS will introduce "reactions", which was almost the feature design I was looking for. So far so good. But I want to dig in 2 levels deeper... As I'm looking for gamification solutions with a variation of "reputation/reaction bars", I only get one single reaction bar by IPS. My ongoing requirements are: I dont want only 1 reaction bar. I want several independent ones (maybe, 2 or 5 or more, some of them next to each other, others not) which look exactly like the reactions bar by IPS introduced in 4.2 Each reaction bar must have different icons (with different meanings, f.e. values, not only positive or negative) and each reaction counts towards different total reputation scores. So likes or "ratings" in these bars count to different total counts. These reaction bars can be placed on different places, f.e. just regularily above posts, but maybe only on profile pages or on self developed IP.pages. Some flexibility.. There must be special overview pages (maybe realized with IP.pages), where I could display analyzations, maybe in percentage overviews. For example, if you look at fitness tracker app software and analyzation websites (f.e. fitbit.com), they collect a lot data and manipulate it after some primitive calculations into a proposition for the user... The only difference between them and me shall be: they collect data by tracking devices..., I want to collect the data by user feedback, generated by different reaction bars. Do you think your modification could go into this direction one day? Maybe my post is just an idea on how your content ratings plugin could become even more powerful with new ideas... Thanks anyway.

I don't know about an existing solution nor any announcements yet. This feature has already been requested hundreds of times by really a lot of members. You can search for "app creation" and "push notifications" to read the whole discussions. Whoever will create a push notifications solution, will become famous

+1 Email marketing / address management / mailing lists is a very big point for monetarizing a community and is totally missing as a full IPS native feature. There already are several plugin in IPS marketplace for mailchimp, sparkpost, and also for address validation checks for bulk mails via own server. Other plugins are "Newsletters" and there also exist several variants. But I would wish to get some IPS native features without being required to use 3rd party services. Maybe also a plugin to connect to the byteplant API to get rid of bad emails. -> https://www.email-validator.net/email-address-online-verification-api.html And it would be a great gain if one of the designers would develop some email template designs to choose from. We have so many designers for themes and skins, but no one ever touched email templates so far...

GREAT! The long awaited footer solution! Question: I use both default IPS theme and another professional theme. While the professional theme already has a footer, is it possible to select your footer only for the default IPS theme? And not activating it for the professional theme in use, as this one uses a standalone footer already. Or, if I would be able to deactivate the footer in the professional theme, would it be possible to activate your footer for BOTH themes, IPS default and the professional theme? Can it be configured? Hi, Gratulation for this plugin. I want to create a "primary" reputation bar with different icons, f.e. in 48x48px in size, or bigger. It has to be touchable on mobiles. Is this possible? And I still want to keep the native IPS reputation system functionality (Like button), but give this standard function button a special "power button" style in same design as your bar. would be a nice feature. Please tell me, how long to you think, you're going to support this plugin and do maintenance. See, if I introduce such a tool to a very big community, it means a lot risk to me, if the tool disappears anytime from the market... Just to be sure And I have another question: I already introduced iAwards, and I just think about, if your plugin (in coexistance) could be an overload to a community? To many signs.... Just wanted to add the error report A limited award is found in ACP -> Awards -> Manage -> Category Name -> Award Name -> Edit -> Options -> Activate limited edition Limited edition restricts users being able to receive awards one after one. When one award is given to a member, an admin has to press "still available" in ACP, so another one can be given to another member.

Yes, everything was set correct. But I just checked another configuration. (1) The award, I tried to give as a test to myself, was set as a "limited award". If I change this award setting in ACP to a regular award, it works. So the problem seems to be if awards are configured as "limited" (and "still available"). (2) In frontend in the postbit (userprofile preview next to posts), the award is listed correctly. When I click on the award link, I will be transferred to my profile. But not to the awards tab, and I think the link is intended to transfer directly to the awards tab... One idea: Maybe this results of a language translation (engl. "award" = ger. "Auszeichnung")? I know this problem from IPS as my ACP logos once disappeared when I translated phrases used for google icon name... But not sure if this could be the case. Thanks for assistance!

Dear @-RAW- you might be on holiday/in vacation. We respect this and maybe you're anywhere out far away without internet connection. But please take notice, that a lot of customers invested in using your iAwards project and are urgently waiting for a new functional update! I, for myself, invested a big amount of money and I am totally relying on your iAwards App! I engaged a special designer that created a unique design for my community (more than 100 elements), I founded and supported an "award team" consisting of 8 team member (ready to start directly), we created dozens of pages documentations about processes and rulesets for awarding, discussed with community users about enhancements, we included the awarding mechanism in the overall company master strategy. We didn't only invest heaps of money, but also months of preparation work! I'm not sure if you can imagine the whole dimension what this means in effort and numbers... You have done such great work before. Please do not leave us alone now! We have been paying for a long time. And while you officially offer a renewal fee AND support (on IPS and also www.invisionizer.com), I consider this as an ongoing support responsibility and a business maintenance agreement. If anybody offers software, he is somehow responsible for this. Please help us or - at least - transfer your project to a development successor, who can go on developing, maintaining and supporting this great app! Otherwise the damage will be very high for your customers. Thanks!

I'm not sure if this is related, but -> I have a fresh iAwards Installation on IPS 4.1.17.1 -> I've read the setup guide and configured the first categories and test awards -> Then I tried to test award myself (the very first award ever!) -> In the IPS header, I chose "create" and then "award member", I put in all required informations, and press save -> pressing Save forwards me to mydomain.com/index.php?app=awards&module=awards&controller=ajaxcreate RESULT nginx 500 internal server error No manual awarding is possible, I asked my sysadmin to check nginx logs, but there is no problem in there. He told me to contact the software developer, what I'm doing hereby. Please help! Thanks.

Looks great! I wonder why IPS themselves don't offer a template collection.... First question: I'd like to realize several different FAQs, f.e. FAQ for admins FAQ for mods FAQ for member FAQ for prize games And I'm not sure if I can operate these different FAQs with different view & read permissions. My members shouldn't view the administration instructions a.s.o. Second question: Do the templates have easy options for reordering FAQs, 1st level and 2nd level titles? And f.e. move a section from admin FAQ to mod FAQ easily? Thanks for response!

Hi headstand, I'm interested in your plugin, but I have a severe notice: It's nice to being able to select the member groups, which shall receive the newsletter. But there should be an essential selection switch: I need it to select the members that opted in to "receive emails by admin". This is the option, which can be selected on the registration screen or in the notification settings. There are a lot countries, like in the EU, where you are not allowed to send emails, if members haven't explicitly opted in! As an alternative, it could be possible to have a special "optin" option in the notification settings. But this means, that all members have to be opted out per default. And they must take individual action to optin for newsletters. Problem will be big communities with >100.000 members, that many members will newer optin. So (1.) should be better. Moreover you should also be able to select to only send to members "receive emails by admin" that have been online during the last <xxx> days. Like in the IPS bulk email options. Anyway, I think this should be a standard feature in IPS to have some placeholders for "last newest 10 topics" or "newest 5 downloads" or.... What I would like to realize is something like this newsletter structure f.e.: HEADER IMAGE / BANNER (individually designed) INDIVIDUALLY WRITTEN INTRODUCTION ("Hi xyz, this is our newsletter for christmas 2016..." SECTION 1 - WITH INDIVIDUAL TEXT Here are our newest themes from last week <placeholder for newest themes from last week> <- your plugin SECTION 2 - WITH INDIVIDUEL TEXT Here are our newest downloads from last week <placeholder for newest downloads from last week> <- your plugin SECTION 3 (individual advertisement, text & banner) FOOTER I'm not sure if I could realize this structure with your plugin and # use different "placeholders", and # also multiple content elements placeholders in the same newsletter and # have individual manually written content in between the sections (mixed contents and placeholders in sequence) And I would also love to get at least 1 or 2 predesigned templates. Great, I wrote about such a plugin in another thread! Some questions and some inspirations for ongoing development: Is it configurable in the profile notifications settings page? Can people set the option to be informed via E-Mail about this notification. Or are they informed via standard settings. What is the mechanism? Is there the standard sign in the suite header ("number on the bell with new unread notifications") when logged in, that there are new notifications? For a future release: Is it possible to bump up special notifications. I mean that they stay on top until the link has been clicked at least once/notification read and forwarded to further description page via link... Also for future release: Maybe a counter how many users clicked the notification...

Hi, nice plugin, but I can't edit the "More Information" and "Got it" Language string. Even if I go to the Language translation manager in ACP, I find the relevant strings, but it doesn't save... (it says "saved" but doesn't) All other translations for other modules and plugins are saveable... I use this plugin for ~1year and updated some times to the latest version. You have any idea?

Hi stoo2000, I have some questions regarding mail bouncer. As far as I know it currently and still only works with the bulk email API integrations by IPS, mailchimp and spark post. Right? Or can it also track bounces that originate from sending bulk mail via direct pop/smtp integrations? If it isn't possible to use the modification with other email providers than sparkpost or mailchimp, would it be possible to do a special job with new integrations for me if I would pay you for the special integration work? The EU market is very restricted and i need some professional solutions that are conform with national and EU laws. We have the problem, that we may not use email services that use servers outside the EU for privacy data. So the market for this is a concern for most EU IPS customers! I also had the quick and dirty solution idea to use mail bouncer only once or twice, for one or two bulk mailings, to cleanup my database by blocking the bouncing candidates first and then change the mailing process. Fees if things get complicated for a one-time-fault might be acceptable. And there might be new laws one time again if I wait a while. By doing so, my question is: is mail bouncer still working (=blocking bounces), if I change to a different mailing provider after only an initial mail bouncer cleanup? Would the recognized bounces from this onetime cleanup still be handled as "in validation", even when using a different mailing provider to send new bulk mails afterwards? You get the point? 1- First cleanup with mailchimp and mailbouncer once, 2- then the database went through the cleanup process, bounces are blocked 3- then I could proceed with law-conform EU mailing solutions without tracking mail bounces via mail bouncer anymore, but the blocked emails will still be handled until users change there addresses and confirm... Thx for pointing me into the right direction.

Hi, I'm still considering buying as soon as my own and my cooperation sponsor videos are developed. If possible I would like to have one (new) request: I would like to see something like a 5-10 seconds sponsor video, that is shown in the player before every or selected videos start playing. It's like a small advertisement video, that redirects to the official video afterwards, after the advertisement video ends. Maybe there could be different ads videos, so different sponsors could see their different ads in different categorys. F.e. play "10sec advertisement video" in video category 1 before redirecting to the main video, play "8sec ad video 2" in category 2, maybe with skip option. It's just an idea for monetizing....

Please have a look at http://www.ustream.tv and http://www.livestream.com In earlier times there was janus.tv (similar to the ones above) which developed and changed its name to twitch.tv. Unfortunately twitch.tv specialized on gaming streams later. They don't have options for livestreams other than gaming issues anymore. What do you think? Maybe there are also cheaper platforms, and I still don't know if professional features like password protection or inbound chat for live streams would conflict with your setup. They also have a proprietary HTML5 player. But the technology should be similar. And it would serve what I need: paid livestreams by webcam for protected forum groups.

I know. But can't you submit live video via webcam with Twitch or Hitbox instead of any screen/stream captures for computer games? I mean it looks to me as if there could be a similar service like twitch or hitbox that transfers plain webcam streams... If you don't know I won't bother you about that any more. But it seems that you only need a similar provider like them that support direct live webcam feeds instead of gaming streams. It would be awesome to have opportunities like a one time live "newyear speach to the forum nation" Anyway, thanks for your time.

Thanks for fast response. But videobox can handle broadcasts, like this twitch.tv. Isn't this the same in a way? Ok, you would also need any third live streaming service provider that could be inbound. And a shoutbox could probably be integrated easily via a widget in the sidebar. Don't you see a chance it might work in a primitive way?
