What Redis improvements do you need?

A few users complaint about performance issues and some related topics about sessions issues and (if i remember correctly)  @bfarber replied that there is an internal discussion about it for any possible improvements/fixes...

  2. Great job as always 💪

I am waiting most the Elastic search support for version 7.

    Improvements on Redis caching...

Support more Cloud providers like Backblaze e.t.c

Hope to get them all in the new version 😎

  3. You and Invision Team have a full WOW from me for your hard work  🙂

Invision is a great platform and very easy to use. I appreciate your efforts !

Do you have any info and be able to share about supporting more Cloud providers for our files?

    Thank you !

  4. Out of topic but Invision in my opinion should focus a bit more on scaling as forums are getting bigger and bigger every day...

Hope to get native support for cloud providers that are bandwidth partners with Cloudflare:

For example we can use Wasabi as it is compatible with S3 but i would love to get native support for Backblaze for example....

So forums can benefit from huge amount of storage for very low price and free transfer from the Cloud storage to Cloudflare and then back to users....

    Thank you

  5. Yes it will be good to know some basic info as at the end of January we didn't get anything .....

1)It will be a Pre release or a final version?

2)Any E.T.A ? - I know the answer will be when is ready but if it is not out on March then i think is getting to long and maybe it will be better to add one by one the updates and release them, than get them all at once on an update once per year....

    But that's me :)

Other than that congrats to IPB for all that great new features !

  6. It is worth the awaiting :)

You are not pressing anyone whith that kind of comments :)

Relax and let all users to be ready until they patch/fix a few more things before they release it :)

August will be a lot hot !!!!! :-)

  7. Thanks for your answer bfarber....

I hope IPB will support MySQL Replication ....or to have the db on another remote server for better I/O performance...... I mean to be easy to do the  settings for this scenario so IPB will load data from another server .....

  8. Confused :)

I do not have anything on the server at the moment.

So is it better to use memcache only and set it up as user-land memory caching ( please link for this? ) or to install also APC and set it as opcode caching so using both i will benefit more?
