Any updeate/promisses on this issue? It really a pity not to able to monetize the noticable part of the traffic.
And really strange that IPB is not fuly  compatible with most popular Adsystem )

It did start of using notifications but people complained it was to much etc so the flash message came in, landing pages etc is a lot more work for a user to do and navigate to etc, I will look into something better and will use a setting to define what one to use etc
I will be adding images soon but it is a lot to do , for now you could add the image to the description and it will show them there
    there is also this
it is getting a new update wrote ( should be tonight if all goes OK ), you could use that for sports / gaming clans and so on
    you can check it here
    https://ipsdev.org/index.php?/bettingshop/
the version installed is the one I am working on but that is how it will look etc
    and there is also this

I love this—I love the gamble for points options. I don't think people will use it much. I cannot hype this up, without explaining why its awkward.
    1. When you lose points it does not say that, but rather says that you won. Its confusing and you have to do math to figure if you lost.
    2. The results message (however misleading it may be) is a flash of an overlay. Its easily missed.
Solution: Make losing and winning a big deal (YOU LOST X POINTS! or YOU WON X POINTS!) with a landing page we can customize (maybe from pages?) and an option to play again or return to shop.
    3. There is no landing page for anything and no way to put images in the default grid display that I saw. Just FA icons.  If I am going to give away a physical item (like a pair of sunglasses for example) for points I want to show them right in the grid.
Solution: Allow for custom image per custom item that shows in the grid. (Like Super Grid)
I think I could make custom pages and link to the games somehow as a work around, but I cannot make the win/lose message correct or exciting.

And more gambling please! This could be a huge hit.

I think that is a bug with IPS when the default is all, For now just have it admin only that should then hide it from the rest and I will sort it out in the update and maybe remove the default value

Figured it out. If this could add a bock over/under the content as well as the side bar we could use this in area where we are really stuck.

Jaymez reacted to Robert Lunte in IPB NEEDS A DECENT EMAIL MARKETING SOLUTION!
    Guys, C'mon...?!
Why don’t you guys build your own, or integrate with some of the top email marketing solutions?  We have all these “enhanced” features that integrate with other services, but the one that seems to be the most obvious is strangely missing. IPB community owners need a proper email marketing solution!
With all due respect, because I love your platform other than this issue..., I don’t get how you can offer a COMMUNITY platform with, so many brilliant ways to monetize… without a proper email marketing solution available to your community owners to use.
For that matter, why are you guys not sending out regular newsletters to your customers? That would seem to be evidence that you are totally missing the necessity for email marketing for any online community system, be it yours, or your customers. Peculiarly strange?

The bulk mail system is NOT a proper email marketing system. It has limited design capabilities. It has no metrics/stats. It caps your emails out to about 200-400 a day, if you have thousands of subscribers, this is entirely impractical. It offers no ability to make forms to capture sign-ups.

    Do an integration with:
( this is a plugin for wordpress that is SUPER light and simple. But it does everything anyone needs. It covers the basics. Something like this would be perfect ).
    ... or build your own.

Any email marketing system DOES NOT have to be fancy!... All we really need are the following features:
    - A decent design interface.
    - Metrics.
    - The ability to send out thousands of emails in one send.
    - Mailing Lists.
    - The ability to make forms that can capture sign-ups in the HTML widgets that will then go straight into a mailing list.

With group collaboration, members of your community are able to form their own groups, ranks, memberships and micro communities within the fold of your whole community.
Any group can collaborate to create, maintain, and manage its own content based on what you allow as the site administrator. Out of the box, you can allow groups to manage their own forums, galleries, calendars, blogs, downloads, databases, and more. You control all the permissions and limits.
A perfect solution for gaming clans, development teams, social groups, client collaboration projects, school clubs, faith groups, or any other type of application where you want to delegate specific features of your IPS Community Suite to individual groups in a controlled manner.
