They have to have this moderator permission:

But they open the reactions list (click on a reaction or the "View all" and then there will be an X circle next to the reactions. Click that and it will remove it.

Please be aware that betas come with limited support and fixes may be far in between issues. I have transferred this to a ticket as I would like to investigate this to see why this is. Please check your email for further correspondence.

It reads like things were supposed to be more emphasized so I would stop to emphasize it more in my head. NGL I prayed you did it on accident as it was extremely annoying to read.
In a way it felt like reading a bad poem in iambic pentameter.

If you have pages you could try adding a custom block with an empty div in it.

It will depend on your theme but I believe you are talking about the header behind the logo and the user bar:
#ipsLayout_header header That will be the element you need to edit. You would add a background and a height. And then setup a responsive thing to not have it there for smaller devices.

Morrigan got a reaction from CheersnGears in Improve the Approval Queue
Having guest posting or not, depending on your approval setup this particular means of going through posts is daunting and detrimental. There is quite a few ways to accumulate approval queue posts:
Guest posting that requires approval. User posting that requires approvals (for new members or members currently under surveillance) Forums that require approval before users post in it (the Sales forum on IPS used to use this feature). Topics that require approval before people can post in it, this is a special moderator feature for volatile subjects. Posts in Databases, gallery, calendar, new clubs etc. Each of these items can end up in the approval queue and can add up over time. While I don't have 50+ on average it doesn't change the fact that the queue is a bad admin experience from a UI perspective, time consuming and overall meh.
Sure. Flag a person as a spammer and be done with it but that doesn't resolve the issue overall on extremely popular sites. Additionally, using other methods (going directly to forums, databases etc with pending items, doesn't make for a good experience either. This should be an all in one easy place for us to view what is pending and be able to approve, delete or hide any necessary pending approval content.
I'd dare say it would be nice to have filters like:
All pending items from X user All pending items from X IP But I digress. This has been a pending suggestion for almost 2 years so at this point I'm sure its being ignored but it is a much needed change.

Morrigan got a reaction from OptimusBain in Subscription Issue and Work-Around
    I figured it out @bfarber
When you get a subscription you are ONLY able to renew the subscription you had before and then probably upgrade?
Basically they are saying that the end user should be able to subscribe to any available subscription regardless of past subscriptions.
    To duplicate:
Have a user with an expired subscription
    Go to subscriptions
The only option they have is to “Renew Now” instead of “subscribe” to other subscriptions. In his instance the free trial is obviously not something they can renew in order to upgrade.
It’s not a good way to have it regardless because if you don’t prorate upgrades the person has to pay twice to upgrade to the correct subscription that they want.

.ipsReact_button { filter: grayscale(0%) brightness(100%); } It will make it look normal. The problem is that the default is meant for the heart and doesn't work well on the yellow emojis.

Morrigan got a reaction from Maxxius in Create Menu still needs a re-work
So I have been revamping my main site for ages today and it reminded me how much I loathe the "Create" link.
It shows you EVERYTHING you have access to submit if your database name and the record name are the same they are redundant as hell (Submit Record to Records) and this is even more prevalent when you use a single category setup instead of having multiple categories.
On top of that (and I'm submitting this in a separate topic) Pages databases are a mess in it.
I recently revamped my Create link, though I can't fix all of my issues I was able to take it from this:

    To this:

While some of that (I'd say about five from the first section) are admin/staff only it doesn't make that list any less daunting or confusing for an end user.

    So my issues:
No option in order. It currently follows an App order to put it into the list and for Pages they are all listed in whatever order they want looking at it now. No option in what shows in here. If I want a database to be submitted from only one page I can't tell the create menu (without editing the template) what not to show. Create is too vague of a term. I changed my verbiage to "Quick Create Content" to see if it gets used any more than it had been before as it stands even though it moves with the site I still don't think my members know what it is or how to use it.
What I want is something where you can mange what shows up and in what order. People are already inundated with how much stuff can be on any one site, it would be good not to overload them with looking through a long list of what they can submit and focus them on your primary content sources.

Morrigan got a reaction from Sonya* in Recalculate Grid on Paginated Page
Super simple, when using the standard ips Grid CSS on a paginated page the subsequent pages do not recalculate the height of the items so if there are items that are slightly taller on other pages they are out of alignment and throw the rest of the grid off. If you refresh the page (fully instead of the pagination) it recalculates for the page and everything shows as it should.
Having to define heights on things that could have a variable height because its paginated is annoying. Please re-trigger the height calculation when a page paginates.
    Thank you!

Note that one has the line fandom while the other doesn't. But a refresh:

It legit only happens during pagination page turns.
