Just a suggestion, would love to see a notification option for reported content :)

I need a modification that does the following:
Gives me the option per category to auto unapprove an item. I want it to be unapprove because I want the owner to still be able to see it but be out of the standard listing. And I want to be able to do it based on category.
 
I want a notification when something is unapproved sent to the person that telling them that their listing “went inactive”.
I have more things I want this to do but those are the basics.

I want to throw out there that hashtags (pound signs for us old people) mean something different on different media platforms. So making an educated and good decision on this is, and should be difficult.
For example you use a hashtag in discord and other chat programs to link to separate rooms. Whereas they are used to link other content on social media streams. Its not quite the same thing to assume that a hashtag is just one thing.
When you have a limited space to type content I can see how a hashtag is super important but you don't have a limited space on a forum. TO ME, I think that the better recommendation here is to make the tag section more prevalent as a hashtag center. Call it "Hashtags" call it something more media-centric. Allow people to #callit and then utilize them more for similar content.
I don't think the problem is that we "need" hashtags but more that we need to make our tagging system work as if we already have them.

If you have "Pages" create a custom "Member Statistics" block and when you save/create it you can change the permissions on who can see it.

Any unvalidated member that is older than the cut off will be removed.

There is not an option for this. Unvalidated members no longer have a group like they did in 3.x

Well, it picked up the database, converted it etc. Said it had done it but then got a 404 error when trying to go to the ACP. Tried to go to the actual site and got this:

 
If I try to click on anything else or attempt to log in then I just get the 404:

 
I am guessing the old site webspace and PHP has something to do with this. I got excited again thinking I had a work round but alas, another wall.
 
 
EDIT: In fact disregard the above.
I'M IN!!! It worked. I had a look at the pictures and realised it was pointing to /forum which didn't exist in this. So I changed the conf_global.php info to remove that and it loaded up. Now to check around. Thank you so much for your help so far. Hopefully this is fine, I can learn the PHP side and add skins and themes as I learn to make it look more like the original.

You cannot just run a query on the topics table to unarchive. The post content is moved out of forums_posts and placed into another table (which can be in a separate database as mentioned). The posts need to be moved back.
Disabling the feature should cause a task (NOT a background process) to unarchive everything. 

Featuring is similar to a "pin" of a thread its just a different marker for it and doesn't keep it at the top. You would want to use a topic widget that shows "Featured" items to utilize that flag.

Its going to be based on your already used license key that's already in the database. It shouldn't update anything and if you end up having an issue with it IPS support is really accommodating to upgrade issues/domains so fixing it shouldn't be an issue you'll just have to submit a ticket.

They are last time I checked. The Archived field IIRC is more for whether or not you've removed something from the archive that was archived, manually. Its intended to make sure that it doesn't re-archive something that you resurrected from the archive.
