I think there are plenty of other things than links. Inappropriate avatars, signatures, profile headers etc. There is more than one reason that you may want to report a user but not specifically their content.
By all means a member account IS a content item in itself and contains content that is not posted anywhere else in the suite but utilized all over the suite.

Submit a ticket. This will require that IPS have an actual look at what happened to fix it.

Morrigan got a reaction from Aramaech in Guests are somehow accessing the dev build of my site
Guests "browsing" is not likely if your site is offline. If an IP hits the site it will log it as "browsing". If I knew where your dev build was I could load the front page and be marked as a guest and as browsing even though all I'm seeing is an access denied or login page.
This is just IPS saying that it see's someone actively touched your site within the last X minutes.

Morrigan got a reaction from GazzaGarratt in Ability to disable donation goals
When you delete a donation goal it removes all data associated with it. This includes the name of the thing that people donated for. I would like to keep this information instead of deleting it so it would be nice to simply disable or deactivate a donation goal. It also helps if you want to re-enable/reactivate it later.

This is because there are a lot of opinion based threads here. I don't think "Like" is a good reaction when you want to agree or support what has been said in a thread but currently the only agreeable reaction.
Like is a broad (and at least for me) a very default way for people to respond/react to something that they simply think was a good read.
In some cases I would like to actually agree with what the member is saying or support it with a +1. To me agreeing versus liking something will give me a better way to show my appreciation to a members post.
An example a cute joke in the middle of an opinion thread would get a like or a 'haha' but something that brings up good points can get my 'agree'.

there is no choice in the parent thread because it merges the threads chronologically. The parent thread is the thread that was created first.

Morrigan got a reaction from xdrox in Why aren't posts numbered within a thread?
So, this plugin existed in 4.4 and I sorely doubt that they will deny it in 4.5. Its a cosmetic change that doesn't affect performance. When they speak of "removed functionality" they are talking about things that are detrimental to the health of a site and thus why it was removed (Re: the topic title of the next unread post at the bottom of a thread:

which was removed due to major performance issues on large communities)
As for the link on time.... that's been a feature since IPS was in version 1.x. Honestly most platforms have the feature to click or copy the link from the time as its been a building block of forums for as long as I can remember for over the past 20 years.

IPS isn't depriving you of choice. YOU have the choice to add it yourself. All IPS did was remove the fact that they offer it as default functionality. I personally removed post numbers even in the 2.x days and find softwares that use post number a little archaic and aged. Yes. Even Xenforo is getting a little behind in the UI times.

Unfortunately, that's not how time works and using referencial time makes what you're looking for impossible but its cute. If you find the time clutter then remove it. I find the time a good reference for me to know how long ago something was posted. Its my best reference IMHO.

Overall, I've seen this come up a few times since it was removed in the 4.x days and its a circular conversation.
"I want it because I think its useful"
People provide "reasons why its not useful"
"BUT I WANT IT BECAUSE I LIKE IT!"
"Okay but its not useful... here are more reasons."
"But I think I deserve to be able to keep it despite your reasons."
"Well then use a plugin. Its not coming back to core."
"BUT I WANT IT because...." return to step one.

This whole conversation so far has been that and if you go back through it, it really exemplifies what I just put into laymens terms. I understand that you feel its useful for your community but really it would be more "useful" overall if you taught your users how to use the newer more advanced features then asking for the more basic archaic features back.
Education is king in a community environment, don't teach your users that this is a bad thing, teach them that it both helps THEM as its faster and it helps the end user because its easier.
Hell.... teach them how to use quotes. Quotes link to the original post.

The answer is not at this time. Last I remember you may be able to do it with a custom query but the reason its no longer available is because its resource intensive on large databases.

Morrigan got a reaction from SUBRTX in Any ideas for securing access to AdminCP?
Moving your admin directory, htaccess and removing the link from your theme are archaic and proven to be meh in this day and age.
Google Auth 2FA is enough to secure your account. The person would actually need access to your google auth account, password and backup password to even begin to login to your ACP.
Hiding an ACP is at best a "deterrent" and never a real solution. Additionally, the ACP link is ONLY given to those that have an administrative level account (so they have an account that can access the ACP.
I'll be honest, if 2FA isn't enough for you, then you are really going outside of the box. Who is in your personal data far enough that you are worried that 2FA isn't enough?
It sounds like you're going through extreme measures to solve an already solved problem.

Its actually 93 which means that their were reactions that were removed.
Reaction counts do NOT recount on change of a total (negative, positive or neutral, they also don't recount if you remove a reaction that did any of those).
So if you had one that added reputation and deleted it, it wouldn't delete the existing total unless you recount their reputation total.
Additionally, if you make a positive a neutral reaction it will never add the past reactions as neutral because when someone reacted it was a positive so those reactions will always be positive but future reactions will be neutral.
