Ok just went through all permissions and when I clicked save this is what happen to the site.

I have new problem when I create a new page with info or a widget on the page I set permissions for all to see when I log out as a guest I can’t view the page says I don’t have permission to view am I missing a permission setting?

I have made custom pages and blocks with stock widgets some of the forums are not there either...as for the backup I download a full backup from the server with sql database and it seems to go back to an older forum I am not sure what you are saying I need both filesystem and database and other dependencies which I assume is what I downloaded from my hosting server.

I have a problem when I upload my forums to the test folder of my server that all customization I have done with blocks and pages are not there what causes this and how do I fix it so all custom blocks and pages will show up on the test site? I am using 4.4.10

I noticed that using a backup from forums I upload to a localhost to see how it looks and it seems to loose all customized blocks and pages is there a way to use a backup and not loose these custom blocks and pages?

I was wondering if there is a way to put color in the background of a custom widget side bar block not all blocks just one block? I put image in see how the image doesn't fill the block I want to add background color is it possible and how ?

I have installed the beta to test the upload media in pages and how dose it exactly work and how do I link the upload to the video https://mydomain/upload/video.mp4 is this how its done?

I did not use the uploader because it has a 5mb limit and will not upload on version 4.4.10 but I check all settings again.

I have that selected and its still the same no new user can signup so I put a link in navabar and made a registration form which is working thanks for all the help.

I am not sure if registration is disabled and where do I turn it on because there is no button to register on any page just a sign in as a existing user and I did see you can post with your email and forces you to register but some guest might not even try to post.

I turned off forum posts for non members they can see the forums they just can't read or post the problem is they only have an option of contacting us or sign in as a member no place to register an account is there a fix for this so that they can register not contact I can't seem to figure out how the can register I would rather have a button where the contact us and sign in as a member buttons are i would rather have create an account button. or is there a setting i am not seeing? even on the navbar at the top says sign is as an existing member no place to register.
