  1. Will contributors receive a notification when the new version is approved? It sucks have to look at the file itself several times to see if it was approved then create a topic in support topic.

EDIT: just asking; not happened to me as I submitted my first one; just curious.

Well that means that without an active license you cant re-install your site if something happens...

You never could since 4.0.0 as fresh install requires an active license. This post is about the ability to purchase on marketplace. Now will require an active license too.

    Download's Notifications

To receive notifications of new file updates it was previously necessary to follow files. This meant that you would also be notified of reviews and comments even if they were of no interest to you. From 4.5 we have added a separate button (send me version updates) so you have more control over the notifications you receive. [/quote]

I don’t see this in any file of Downloads. Is this active here?

You will only see resources that are marked compatible with your current version of Invision Community.

Files with disabled purchases shouldn’t appear too. Even the free ones (from same author).

  5. We (those who make/update translations) need a tool that can tell us which new language bits was added between versions so we can update our translations easily and faster.

The UNTRANSLATED filter isn't practical in this case because there are hundred of language bits that I (and a lot of people here) didn't translate (like countries, emoticons, etc) and they are there so it's a "false" positive in this case.

I hope this "no" means "Well, not now, but may be later". 🙂

Probably on IPS5, when they will have the chance to rewrite a lot of things. It’s weird, anyway... because dark mode isn’t a new thing out there. It’s been there for 2 or 3 years already?

was hoping that would make them think. oh lets move that to the edit area ( subconscious request )

I agree that screenshots could easily be done in separated process, like a popup, when you want to add/remove them. For new files, it should remain as is.

Will this send a notification if the file has a new screenshot added? in 4.4- every time we update a screenshot it needs to be done via upload new version

I would say yes as you need to upload a new version (and not edit) to add/remove screenshots.

  9. Honestly, this area on ACP (stats) isn’t really used that much. Speaking by myself (and for the clients that uses my apps that has this). I don’t remember of have been in that page since 4.0.0 to really check any stats. I simply stopped adding this to my apps.

Stats would cause more impact and would be more useful on front-end.
