Cleantalk we have banned out certain countreis from registering, that worked a treat and now get very little RU and CN if any. But need to ban them out from the server completely. 

Will have a go this afternoon and see how it goes.

It’s also required for proper invoicing in many jurisdictions. So, I doubt that will be touched/removed. 

Address collection is a big part of payment gateways, so this functionality will continue to work.

This is something you would need to have coded int a custom theme. It's not something you can do within the software itself.

We have seen a few issues with old accounts being used. 
Some account were comprimised ages ago with a U.S IP and posted spam in a section that is rarely used, then today a russian IP logged in and followed the posts using the same account that posted the spam in the first place. Very odd why they did this.

We will do the following
Stronger password requirement configured Force password reset on accounts older than 6 months of last login. 2 Factor question on all accounts 2 factor using either sms or Authenticator for mods and admins  Turn on email notifications for logins from a different computer / phone CleanTalk (already set up and works a charm)

we are using clean talk app and it works great... we have got rid of 1000 spam registrations in 2 weeks

As our new achievements system matures and grows, we do plan to rework the leaderboard to better integrate the features. 

There is no such leaderboard as such, but its certainly an interesting idea. I will move this over to our suggestions forum for future consideration
