I'll make a prediction. IPS 5.0 will be for cloud users only, whilst maintaining 4.x for us cheapskates. (for a bit maybe)

This should be indeed a default feature.

A large part of being able to manage a relatively busy Board is self policing by the Membership. When a Member clicks Report Post on problem Content they can either enter a Message or not. Regardless. I typically like to address their Reporting with a Thank You or a return Message. As is there is no automatic Messaging feature built into the Report Post function for the Member who reposts a Post, but you can click the offending Members name and access a Message function in drop down. As is you need to go to the Reporting Members Profile to Message or go to the Message function, type in their name etc. Being able to quickly Message the Offending Member and the Reporting  Member seems to make sense.

I just noticed this was mentioned recently in another Topic, with the only response being a third party plug in. Some of us prefer to stay native to the IPB software and functionality. Working this into an update doesn’t seem to be a huge hassle.

We make great use of the Reporting system within our community, nurturing a self-moderation approach within the community itself.
One feature that would make moderation more efficient, would be to have a button (perhaps directly under Status) to send a PM directly to the Reporter.
We have to manually click on the member and then click Send Message. I know it's only a couple of clicks, but the easier it is the more often they would be followed up.
Even better would be when you click the proposed "Respond to Reporter" button, it pre-populates the Subject with "Report Response: Thread Title Here".

That's correct. This is handled by a background tasks which is called all 10 minutes.

Seriously, what is the point of announcign this feature on this public community when it will be only available to " corporate and enterprise" cloud plan ? How many clients does IPS have on this plan ? what %age of this community members does this represent ?
Announcing features only available to a few % of your clients can only frustrate the vast majority.

One can always start a new conversation with anyone, but then you have to manually refert to the report. It would be nice, if somehow a report-related conversation was clearly tied to the report itself (visibly).

Ramsesx reacted to opentype in invoice has expired but member cannot renew
That’s why it never gets fixed. IPS just pretends there is no issue with excuses. The expiration isn’t the point. It’s the fact that an existing expired invoice on file blocks future purchases, which is very clearly wrong and not how ANY other subscription service on the planet is working. If I subscribe to a newspaper and cancel it, I will always be able to start FRESH in the future. Of course I am. It’s what I want, it’s what the newspaper wants. Why would the software prevent it for now reason against my will and the provider’s will? The Washington Post or Netflix aren’t saying “oh, your subscription expired 5 years ago, so you will never ever be able to start a new subscription”. That would be insane. But it is how IPS has coded it. And that it even fine in the sense, that things like that happen. It was probably an honest mistake to set it up like that originally. But it is not fine to not own up to it and correct it after admin after admin runs into this problem for years, loosing money because people willing to continue a subscription can’t and just give up.
Not letting invoices expire is a work-around at best, it’s the not the proper solution. If someone would let the subscription expire and they did not use it for years, the SHOULD be starting fresh with with any product and the current conditions, maybe even higher prices, because their subscription has expired years ago. Why should I set it so that they will forever be able to pick up the old subscription just so users don’t run into this problem of not being able to continue a subscription at all. This is objectively flawed. An expired invoice is meaningless. It should not block people from buying the product like a new subscriber. Anyone with expired subscriptions should get exactly the same offers as someone who never had a subscription to begin with.

Ok, than have you tried all the standard procedures to check out if the error is by plugins, style?
First you could try if it occurs with the default theme, after try disabling all plugins and check if the error is still there.

Hi, it is working fine for me on 4.6.10 editor sidebar wysiwyg block, text color and background color.
I assume this issue occurs only when you use the editor in this block? In normal posts etc. it works?

    Hello,
if you burned out just... rest. You do not need to disable purchases. Just inform clients (new and exists) that you're in the "bug mode" only and no new requests will be added.

Disappointed that the store was not built with Commerce....
Why do you guys not use your own products? Support with Commerce is ceased, now brand shop with Shopify. What next? Moving community blog to WordPress? Gallery to Instagram? Clubs to Facebook groups and Calendar to Google? Then "just" connect everything with Zapier.
