Now and then, a member of your community may come to you asking to have their account deactivated or permanently deleted. It's a pretty common event on all types of social networking sites.
People like to be in control of their accounts. When they no longer utilize a site, they often want to be able to have their accounts disabled for privacy reasons and to prevent unwanted messages and other notifications from being sent to them.
It can be frustrating to a member when they can otherwise find no venue to accomplish this. Many members may not go through the trouble of manually submitting a request to a staff member requesting to have their accounts disabled, but it can still leave a negative impression on them.
By providing your members with an easy avenue to have their accounts deactivated, you can alleviate this stress and provide your members with a better sense of security and privacy.
With this application, deactivation doesn't even have to be a permanent choice. Should any deactivated member decide they want to come back to your site in the future, all they will have to do is log in and click a single button to have the account activated again!

Troubleshooting member's account is what we do on a daily basis. Oftentimes, you Sign in as member to see what they are seeing.
To do this, you normally log in to your Admin Control Panel and run a search for the member. Open their account and click Account Actions > Sign In as
That's a lot of steps.
What's worse is that sometimes the search feature in Admin Control Panel is not successful (eg. special characters in username).
All of this takes up a lot of time. Time is money.
I'm a strong believer that Admins should be focused on building relationships and/or new content.
Because of this we created an easier way for Admins to "LogIn as XYZ User".
It's a simple link provided to Admins with the proper permissions so they can Sign In As XYZ User via a member's Profile page.
Not available anywhere else - just in Profiles.
No settings. Just install.

This is a simple plugin that adds an additional layer of security to the email change process, making it more difficult for an account to be hijacked.
Before the user can change their email address, an email is sent to their current email address, with a link they must click. This ensures that only the real account owner can change the email. After clicking the link, the member can proceed with the email change process as normal.
