    @Matt Finger did all the hard work (JS, node, React, etc). I got the easier jobs.

    Yes it does - loading="lazy" is a browser-native lazy loading approach, so you just include the src as normal. The data-src version is if you're using the custom JS lazy loading approach (and there's no benefit of doing that for reaction images).

    I think supporting one level of sub-comments (a la stack overflow, or even status updates in IPS profiles) in forum topics and then putting answers to questions as sub-comments would be a great improvement and make it a bit easier to follow the flow of live topics. I've found this one a bit more difficult to follow post-liveness.

    Main gallery page doesn't do page reloading when viewing photos, but when viewing photos in category - page refreshing happens when browsing photos...

    Any theme settings that are "color" fields will automatically be turned into CSS variables for you. If your theme setting has the key "test_color" (like in your screenshot), the CSS variable will be named --theme-test_color. No need to create the CSS variables yourself 🙂

    A formal design system is something I experimented with but unfortunately never got the opportunity to get to production.

    I am mapping out the CSS classes in Figma and I notice a lot of repetition and very small hue changes and I would suggest a small overhaul to reduce the variables a bit, or use a standard hue base instead?
     
    This is not all the colors, but you can see the repetitions I think 🙂
