We use reactive + special moderator tools. This tool (created as application) add special button 'checked' for every post. It visible only for moderators (by their sections). Moders must read all content and set 'checked' on each of them. This tool make knowing what is already checked by other moderator and other moderator didn't need to re-read already checked content. So they have a special tab in moderate panel, named 'Unchecked content' which shows where (by topic) is most number of unchecked content (they see topic only from their sections). So it was extermely helpful for us for good content check experience. It our must have tool because if we skip something bad (for example, alcohol advert or terrorist's text) - we got a big problems from our police and other government sctructures. So we very accurate with that. And we can't use proactive method because we have a high speed discussions sometime (~5 posts per min - daily average, 60+ posts per min in some hot times - all graphs of that available in graphana).
I can show closed demo of that system, if you think it interested to implement as part of the IPS reactive methods)

I've some good news for you! Since forums within clubs are real forums, you can move topics between regular forums and club forums just like in any other case. You just need to be a member of the club, and you'll see your club forums in all the select boxes:

I like this, but to take it a step further....I would like to see an option to return members to lower groups if they don't maintain a certain level of activity.
    example..
In order to remain in "Group X" you must have 25 posts over the last 12 month, otherwise you go back to "Group Y"
This would keep up forum activity, rather than just having a member do a one time burst of creating topics and replies.

Though we think we're pretty darn good at what we do, we can't be good at everything. There's a lot of great services out there that are superb at what they do, and it makes sense for us to integrate with them where it adds value for our own customers.

So you want IPS to get into the business of developing authentication software on a level of Authy, Google, etc?

My first task will be to set up virtual spaces for my paying tutor clients I can discuss their projects with them in forums topics, aid them in research by contributing to their media gallery, allow them to use a blog to track their own insights, etc.  With Clubs (well, "Spaces") they can let others join to collaborate if that's what the project calls for (although essay writing and critical argument building will probably be 1 on 1).
I can't tell you how excited I am to see Clubs, as up until now my clients had their own password-protected forum - some not visible, others visible - and blogs where desired, which is not nearly as graceful and professional a solution as Clubs.
After that, I want to organise groups around literature and philosophy (British/Australian/Canadian/Etc lit., Romanticism, Speculative Realism, German Idealism etc etc) and then promote like hell once I have the time!

Oh...there will also at some point be a Club dedicated to the Zombie Apocalypse.  But I expect it'll be pretty dead in there ZING

I knew there would be new developments in 4.2, but I never anticipated that something like this would come about which fits so precisely - PRECISELY with what I have wanted for tutoring clients - spaces which constellate all the other apps and that can be custom-tailored for my clients with complete control over visibility and privacy.
Obviously the product of a lot of work and consideration, and I am truly looking forward to using this on my site.  Awesome!

This is in the Core app, so it'll be part of your community when you upgrade to 4.2. The areas of the club that users can create would of course be linked to which applications you have (e.g. you'd only be able to have galleries in your Club if you have the Gallery app).

    1) They apply to all blocks; club leaders cannot control the blocks shown.
    2) No, it's a club-wide activity stream
    3) Clubs have a FURL based on their name (e.g. /clubs/1-myclub/ etc.)
    4) All clubs use the same verbiage
    6) They appear in the club view and not in the applications themselves, but do appear in areas like activity streams, search, feed blocks etc. where content is collated.
    7) No, not right now.
