  7. File Name: [AH22] Topic multi-moderation enhancements 1.0.1 File Submitter: Alex File Submitted: 24 Oct 2006 File Category: Modifications This will enhance the existing multimod and add easyban and variables ( {topicid} ). This modification uses word replacements like {forum_id} and {boardurl}. It also enables you to add the Easyban function which uses IPB default Banned group which is ID #5, however if yours is not you must change the edit in action_public/misc/multi_moderate.php where it says do_update under the easyban function, in that line change 5 to your group ID. With the banning feature, you cannot use that topic multimoderation on a rootadmin or you will get a nice error message. THIS MODIFICATION HAS BEEN TESTED AND WORKS, HOWEVER I WILL ALWAYS GIVE SUPPORT Change log: -- 1.0.0 - First initial release of modification -- 1.0.1 - Fixed error in install readme which made modification broken for all users Click here to download this file

  13. File Name: [AH22] Reputation System v4.5.4 File Submitter: Alex File Submitted: 23 Dec 2006 File Category: Modifications This adds a reputation system to your community allowing members to rep people, its basically like Karma on SMF :) The reputation system is a complete Add-on for your IP.Board community. If a particular member is helpful, friendly, or what other members think deserves a reward, the member can be repped. Reputation System v4.5 Module >> v4.0 below made by D1 >> v4.5 improved by AH Modding v4.5 sees the old IP.Board 2.0.x post screen vanished and replaced with the 2.2.x Rich Text Editor. v4.5 also sees a lot of improvements to the Admin CP side based around the new 'Member Edit' form, and v4.5 also sees alot of security improvements. [AH22] Reputation System v4.5.4 I am pleased to announce the latest arrival in the reputation system has now been released. v4.5.4 sees to alot of bugs mentioned in the previous versions. The bugs fixed are: ACP -> Management -> Manage Reputation Ranks (Images fixed)ACP -> Management -> Groups -> Root admin is now listed in the exclude rep listForums -> Reputation -> Add/edit/comment view -> The bug where the RSS images etc. below the RTE were not loadingForums -> Profile -> Reputation -> Fixed add/edit bugA couple of skin bugs There are a couple of JS errors, but that will not effect anything, but will be gone in 5.x To upgrade from .3, reupload all files, run /repsystem/ and then read the upgrade instructions. 16. File Name: [AH22] Report Manager File Submitter: Alex File Submitted: 24 Mar 2007 File Category: Components In a default installation of IP.Board, you get the option of reporting posts to the board moderators, however, this area fails badly in alot of places. When a report is sent, it PMs all the board moderators, DING! problem number one! In all successful communities and businesses, communication is the key to success, if your moderators cannot communicate over a report, who knows what will happen? In this modification, all reports made are sent to one centralized place where Moderators and Administrators can assign statuses, add comments, and keep up to date with the report. DING! solution number one! By default, IP.Board PMs the contents of the post to the moderator. But by the time the moderator checks, the post may have been edited. DING! problem number two. In this modification, to save DB queries and space, it DOES NOT store a copy of the reported post, it uses LEFT JOIN to contact ibf_posts for that information. You may ask yourself, when they edit the post, the reported post is edited? Correct, but to get around this I have coded it so the post becomes invisible (Unapproved) and therefore only moderators and above can see the reported content. This file has gone through private testing (ALPHA 1, ALPHA 2, ALPHA 3, PB1 - TESTERS) and there are not (If any) bugs in the software. In all future releases, the testers will receive the modification before you do, to ensure 100% quality is given to you. Click here to download this file
  17. File Name: [AH22] Profile Options v1.0.0 File Submitter: Alex File Submitted: 20 Mar 2007 File Category: Modifications Since the recent update of IP.Board 2.2.x, the Classic view has been replaced by the new Personal Portal. Although the board administrator can set it back to the Classic view, many members of many boards have split views on what profile they like best. This is where this modification steps in. This modification adds a new setting to the Edit Profile Information page and users can choose to switch between the two styles. However, if the board administrator sets it to be Classic view from the Admin Control Panel, the users selections will have no effect. Files Affected /sources/profile.php /sources/usercp.php /sources/lib/func_usercp.php /sources/classes/class_session.php Files Uploaded /mod_install/ah22profileoptions.xml Requirements This modification was designed to be installed with the (FSY22) Universal Mod Installer available from IPSBeyond, Invision Modding, or D-Scripting. 18. File Name: [AH22] Read It! File Submitter: Alex File Submitted: 29 Jun 2007 File Category: Components This modification was designed to keep your members informed about any posts they have not read, or might have missed. It contacts the database to check if that member has any unread posts, and if so, it displays them. We believe that familiarity in a product is a big point, and therefore the interface of this modification looks similar to that of the Search Engine. Requirement This modification was designed to be installed with the (FSY22) Universal Mod Installer, available from Invision Modding, or IPSBeyond. Click here to download this file
  19. This has been brought up before, and it was something we discussed, but as Michael said it would cause too many issues with certain members etc. etc. I am not sure about the little profile field, it would be easier to do seeing the IP.Board 3 framework is very easy to hook into. It's something we will probably discuss, but no promises here or there.

    Resource Site

We won't be releasing any more details at this stage, it's very much still in the planning phases.

    Resource Site

Yes, the Resource Site will be getting some love soon, and we have some very cool ideas in place. :)
  23. Since IP.Board 3.0.0 was a brand new release, it shipped with a brand new design. This design was intended to be easy-to-use, whilst looking as attractive as possible. However, some may prefer the older versions and this is where our newest community project steps in. For the past few weeks, the skinners from our Community Developer team have been hard at work reviving three classic skins from the IP.Board 2.x range. These are: IP.Board Classic Blue, IP.Board Pro, and IPSBeyond. Each skin has been ported to successfully work with IP.Board 3.0, whilst keeping the look and feel where possible, of IP.Board 2.3. All three skins have the appropriate templates for all the addons, and are available for preview right here on the company forums! Please be aware that this is a preview and there will still be small issues with the skins, try to think of this as a pre-beta. For the IP.Board Classic Blue and IP.Board Pro skins, the button icons have not been finalised and will change between now and the beta. We are hoping to have this preview available for around a week, and expect a beta to follow shortly which you can all install on your own forums and help us find any remaining bugs. We have set up a new forum for questions on this new community project, and there is also a new bug tracker category set up for reporting bugs. This is just the start of the Community Skins project, and we hope to be able to bring you quality, free skins in the near-future. Finally, hats off to the Community Developer team for creating an amazing new project.

    Report.

When you report a website, there is nothing more that you can do on your end. The piracy department look at all reports but in a lot of cases it is extremely hard for them to be able to do anything. In your case, the website is based in Israel, and that probably means they are not subject to the same internet laws that the UK and US are. It makes it very hard for the piracy department to shut down a website when it is not based in a country which has piracy laws. They do try, but probably do not respond to all reports, you have done all you can which is report it, you'll have to leave it to the piracy dept. from here on in.
  25. Technical support is sometimes available over the weekend and you may get a response if someone is on. However Mark is simply saying that you cannot rely on there being support on the weekend, it's not office hours.
