  1. No updates have actually been made. I've simply checked the generated IPS 4.3 .htaccess for changes. The file is fully 4.3 compatible.
  2. Is this 4.2 compatible yet? The CSS needs adjusting last I looked.
  3. For any wondering, this works just fine with 4.2.x.
  4. Works fine with IPS Forums 4.1.x. Yes, just add into your /forums/ directory. If you have any issues let me know.
  5. Yes, you can safely remove or alter the time on those lines as you see fit.
  6. I'd suggest making a backup of your current one, uploading the one on the marketplace and testing it on GTMetrix.
  7. Your forum root would be the /forums directory. Just like how here the address is invisionpower.com/forums - you'd put it in that forum folder. No, there's no difference in now/access. They are quite literally the same thing. See Caching Directive bases.

Unless it automatically cleared their profile when I flagged/banned them, there is no location. I didn't look at their profile before, either. Just saw the spam post and nuked it.

    I'm just wondering how we have gotten the same error, yet it's caused by different things. Have a look. ErrorException: Argument 3 passed to IPS\Content\Search\Result\_Content::__construct() must be of the type array, null given, called in hidden/system/Content/Search/Results.php on line 298 and defined (4096) #0 hidden/system/Content/Search/Result/Content.php(68): IPS\IPS::errorHandler(4096, 'Argument 3 pass...', '/http...', 68, Array) #1 hidden/system/Content/Search/Results.php(298): IPS\Content\Search\Result\_Content->__construct(Array, Array, NULL, Array, Array, NULL, false) #2 [internal function]: IPS\Content\Search\_Results->current() #3 hidden/system/Content/Search/Results.php(359): iterator_to_array(Object(IPS\Content\Search\Results)) #4 hidden/applications/core/modules/front/members/profile.php(223): IPS\Content\Search\_Results->addExtraItems(Array, Object(IPS\Member)) #5 hidden/system/Dispatcher/Controller.php(96): IPS\core\modules\front\members\_profile->manage() #6 hidden/applications/core/modules/front/members/profile.php(64): IPS\Dispatcher\_Controller->execute() #7 hidden/system/Dispatcher/Dispatcher.php(129): IPS\core\modules\front\members\_profile->execute() #8 hidden/index.php(13): IPS\_Dispatcher->run() #9 {main} This happened when flagging a user as spammer. Strange, no?

Might not be this modification. I just flagged a spammer on my forums and received nearly identical error output.
  11. 1.0.2 is now available Changes: Added the "map" part that IPS generates into the .htaccess file - 404 section. I also added a screenshot so it doesn't show a blank .png thumbnail here on the Marketplace.
  12. No update is necessary for IPS Forums 4.1. This .htaccess continues to work with no changes or updates needed. Proper caching expiry timers are being established, which is what most of these tests are looking for. Any changes to report? Do these mods use Javascript or something to acknowledge the cookie mod? Because that's the only thing I can think of that might interfere with the mod.
  13. I don't see much change either. Things did improve. It would be nice to expand and see where these issues are. Also, 89 requests seems rather high. I'll poke around with the url and see what I can find that can be done to help improve the speeds and such of your site and post again later, possibly editing this post. With what I see just taking a peek, turning this image linked below into a jpg will help reduce load times and file size. From 422KB to 37KB as a jpg when I tried with: http://image.online-convert.com/convert-to-jpg http://hoitajat.net/images/aihekuvat/etusivu.png Many things need image dimensions set, too which will improve your scores. gzip doesn't look to be enabled? Twitter looks to need an update to load asynchronously. Optimizing your images (pngs) and compressing them will also help reduce page size and improve load times. Page load time: 8.08s Total page size: 2.65MB Total number of requests: 89 A lot of the page needs optimizations and work, but the .htaccess did improve what it could a bit. I hope this helps you get your page optimized.
  14. 1.0.1 is now available No changes have been made to the file contents of .htaccess and the htaccess.txt is a direct copy of .htaccess. Changes: Included htaccess.txtIncluded changelog.txtIncluded Readme.txt
  15. Draffi, yes. However you will need to remove the top segment of IPS 4 .htaccess code. Only use the segment from the ## Begin - Expires caching to the ## End - Expires caching. I use this same code on my Lunarsoft frontpage.
  16. If anyone else runs into this sort of issue please let me know. I'll be glad to include a copy as htaccess.txt to prevent this from being an issue in the future.
  17. This is a custom .htaccess to use on the IPS Community Suite Forums. It helps to improve your forums Google Page Speed and YSlow scores. The top segment is the same .htaccess that is generated by the IPS Forum software. The bottom segment is based upon research of several websites and the references listed below. Please be careful when using this file because the contents may be incompatible with your server setup. Preventative measures have been taken to ensure that it should be safe to use in any Apache based environment. Google recommends a minimum of one week: https://developers.google.com/speed/docs/insights/LeverageBrowserCaching GTmetrix recommends a minimum of one month: http://gtmetrix.com/leverage-browser-caching.html This file is provided as-is and works with Apache based systems only. Server configurations may vary and there may be unexpected results, preventative measures have been included to try and keep any problems from occurring. This resource is not supported. Help will be offered to the best of my ability and the community's help and feedback are welcomed. Contributions to improve the overall performance gained by this file are encouraged.
  18. Thanks for the quick update and fix!
  19. The donate button on my site is showing as "donate" instead of "Donate". How would I be able to fix this excellent plugin of this very minor issue? This is also an upgrade from 3.4 and the Donate plugin used there to the latest IPS and this new plugin installation.
  20. Unfortunately it would not. I had to search for a bit yesterday and they say it works best in the head area. Worse, if it's not there you can't link Webmaster Central with Analytics. http://www.google.com/support/analytics/bin/answer.py?answer=174090
  21. Robert, have you considered updating this for the new tracker style? It seems the new one is now placed in the head area, right before the closing </head> tag.
  22. Agreed. If your forum is one language only this would help to make the skin look cleaner. Especially if you hide skin choices.
  23. Just happened to me too. Relog and you'll be fine. :)
  24. When it's ready™. Someone had to say it. :P
  25. I had considered adding those in to my original post but figured it'd be in a version like 3.1. ;) Nice to see like-minded people.
