Nobody does ALT + stuff + stuff to make an apostrophe. In French, nobody does that. The apostrophe is the one on the "4" key that's all.

@opentype bro, I do not have that key on my keyboard. When we write an apostrophe, I have no choice, I have to use " ' " just like for quoting, I do not have that stuff :  «  » I just copy/past from your post. Only Word transform my " " to «  »

But in short, I'm just trying to say that it might be more logical to skip the apostrophes to avoid this kind of "bug". Although you have a solution to use a different apostrophe works and suits me very well. :)

I noticed that when I put the cursor on the emojis there is something wrong if the emoji's name have a single quote.

In french "I like" is "J'aime".

Look at the screen shot. We have "haha" but we didn't have "J'aime", juste "J

When members get email from us, there is some "Our picks" at the end (&app=core&module=bulkmail&controller=bulkmail)

I want to delete the author on these picks but I don't find the file to edit. 

Any idea ?

On my test server, I didn't make the update, and for me, all is working.

Trophies / Medal are showing good. Notifications is working, all seems to be good. 

Is it normal ?

I understand that there is a distinction to be made between the server side and the software side.

Ban an ip will not prevent it from entering the server, it will stop after.

Anyway, as you say, it is possible to block access to the best with a .htaccess and it would be "cleaner".

IPS or a developer could set up a security of its kind.

The problem is to be on a shared server. As you say, we are at the mercy of the goodwill of the host.

Anyway, an ip that tries to find SQL files, Wordpress login, zip file, etc etc, it's a crap IP that squats my bandwidth, filled my log file, and that does not. has nothing to do here. An IP that generates hundreds of errors per minute is just an IP to ban.

Having a simple rule that can handle it at the back office is nothing foolish to ask.

Fail2ban would already be active if it was possible. It does not, so I'm looking for an alternative solution. If IPS does not wish to propose, I would find another solution. Nevertheless, I think that it would not be too much.

Yes it will be great to have something like that for IPB. Cause, when we are on a share hosting, we can not do what we want on the server side. fail2ban and other can not be added.
