Unfortunately, I have since moved to a new video app. However, I still hold @Michael.J with high regard and I do hope he's not left IPS. I wish him well. Thank you, to @Adriano Faria for helping fix some of the issues I encountered, although unfortunately I wasn't able to edit videos. Has it been explained why signatures have been disabled here? I used mine to promote apps and plugins I used, something which I believed shined a bit of a spotlight towards people who made IPS' that extra bit special. I might be one of the few, who misses reading them too.

I like a lot of what I am seeing about v5. However, I have no immediate plans on upgrading and my other site, I pulled down to focus on my main project full time. Unfortunately, as a hobbyist I don't think IPS is geared towards smaller sites any more. It's by far the best out there, but there are so many costs involved if you want to make it a bit more serious than just a forum pretending to be a site. I've been with IPS since the very beginning, started my forum with IPB. One day, I hope to have the time and money to bring back the projected end, that has far more potential to be bigger but with how life is in the UK - among health, it's just too much. I'm very envious of those who can upgrade, in a good way. It does certainly look like a great set forward and @Ehren is a great asset here. Though, I do miss @Rikki (I hope I mentioned the right account). I didn't realise that Rikki might look a lot like Gynn Jacob to me. 👀

@Marc Stridgen: Could I please request that IPS update my sites live url to include HTTPS instead of http://. 🙂 I actually thought of this after and the results are the same as my live and dev site. Which is odd. I'll just report back to the dev. Thank you.

I need to try a fresh install, to see if an app works in my environment without any other plugins or applications installed. However, I have an active dev site which is in use by another dev. Would it be possible to briefly use a test.mydomain instead of the dev.mydomain and then switch back once I have completed my tests.

I managed to set up a Cronjob where the tasks seem to update, but it didn't help resolve the reason why I wanted to make the switch. I also checked the /var/ there's no log folder. Just one for cpanel. 😞

It doesn't seem to be running, but I can do it manually. I'm not sure how to proceed from here?

I'm trying to properly set up the cronjob function for the task processing. However, I can't seem to get it to work. I have asked my host to run the command, they tried and came back to me with this. I placed the ******** instead of my folder's name for privacy reasons. Is there a setting somewhere that allows you to fine tune which user groups can view unpublished articles? I can't seem to find anything. Ideally, I would only like my user group to see the content.

Today, I have noticed that Facebook doesn't pull my site's OG images. Twitter works fine, so I am not sure if it's a Facebook issue, something changed with Facebook or whatever. Yet I did a search to see if anyone else has mentioned this, and I couldn't find anything. I have searched Google and I noticed that SSL certificate issues can be the cause, it worked fine yesterday and no server configuration has occurred. I have put in a support request with my host, however, I am wondering if IPS can suggest anything?

I think my tokens for the API have changed, it seems okay since I updated them.

When I try to pay for a subscription using PayPal, I get an error message. If the user saves their card details, does this mean every reoccurring payment will automatically be taken?

Sorry, @Jim M. I see how to set up reoccurring payments for products, but not for member subscriptions. I have never used this feature before, but I have people wanting to pledge support to my site.

Does this require a modification? Or can I set it up already within the software @Jim M?

Could you tell me the code, so I can apply the change to my dark skin? Please could you fix the error I sent over to you via PM and consider adding permissions for those who are not editors to be able to assign themselves to tasks. Comments and the ability to add attachments would be nice too. I'm really hoping you release an updated version.

@Miss_B: I'm willing to help develop this further. Maybe you could increase the price for new purchases to make it mutually beneficial. I only want to use the benefits of this if they are available for all customers, both existing and future ones. I don't want a version that is exclusive to me. If you're willing to discuss this, I will outline the suggestions below, and we can potentially take this further from there. Ability to edit sessions Option to make the session reoccur daily Ability to fine tune the time in which the member visits, so being able to set the time(s) per weekly days. Compatibility with who was online in the last 24 hours. Hopefully this, in turn, would improve the application for all and generate a positive reaction. I get that you need to make a living, and that every dev is different. This is why I am hoping to work out a solution which works for you, me and that benefits the 33 other purchases. What do you think?
