  1. When I logged into my site ACP, I received this message "The last 4 emails the system attempted to send failed. This indicates there is probably an error with your email settings." My method of email delivery is PHP. Emails have been sending just fine, at least I thought. I have also come across this message checking the settings. I ran a test email to see if I received it, but I didn't.
  2. Then, I suppose I can't ask if NGINX needs to be a full root control server or not? 😇 Thanks.
  3. @Jim M: Are there any recommendations by IPS on the setup of NGINX to have the best performance? I was just asked by a friend who's helping me.
  4. @Jim M: Can using litespeed cause performance issues? I am currently running it, I am not sure if I should be switching to nginx. I know this is a hosting related question, however, I wasn't aware until now about litespeed. I would appreciate a bit of insight if you would be able to share it.
  5. Hello, I have had two of my sites members receive duplicate charges on their subscriptions due to my dev site. @Terabyte has added this to the constraints before to prevent this: However its not working. Payments are being duplicated.
  6. Yes, Zapier has integration with the service I am thinking. I just wasn't sure if that would bring it in fully with IPS. I didn't mean just Zapier, but Zapier + another third party company which would handle the emails.
  7. Hello, I am currently using SendGrid, however, I only send out automated emails via my IPS site, and I am looking at ways to cost-save. I have seen an alternative option, which has Zapier integration but they also offer an API service. I'm curious, would zapier integrate their service to my community, or should I look for a developer to connect their API?
  8. I am not sure about the front end, but it's there within the ACP.
  9. Thank you, I've confirmed the details are what Redis states. Could CloudFlare be the reason?
  10. I keep seeing an error stating that the cache method isn't working correctly, in the support part of the ACP - it says the configuration is incorrect. Redis Server: 127.0.0.1 Password: 6379
  11. Yeah, that's the thing and it's now been sorted. The PHP version had also been upgraded, I can now configure it. Thanks, Jim.
  12. Sorry I should note, last night DirectAdmin wanted me to update Redis which I did. I believe this is the second time of doing that though.
  13. I had it working fine, but today I woke up to a message saying Redis is not configured. I have since lost the option to use it. I am using DirectAdmin (not cPanel). The commend to see if Redis is work, said that it wasn't found and further below mentioned it was running. I have since managed to get it to report as it's running, but I still have no options to use it.
  14. Thanks, Marc for confirming and updating this. Fingers crossed.
  15. The issue was reported on July 1st, 2022 and remains unresolved. 😮 And mentioned to be in version 4.5.
  16. I have been meaning to report this bug for a while, as I think it's an overlook due to the feature being phased out. However, when you read statuses in a user profile and then choose to reply. It hangs on 'Saving.....' The message is successfully posted, but it doesn't show until you refresh. As I say, it just hangs.

Twitter (X) is shown exactly like this, not inline with the others.
  18. @SeNioR-: Did you ever get anywhere with this?
  19. This is something you absolutely must take on the chin, and whilst I understand your point - it is not always possible to provide visible updates to everyone and nor will everyone read them. There are updates on Michael John's site, albeit a bit old, but I don't believe he's someone who would just walk without trying to address things. If you managed to get your money's worth from the app, then that's at least one good thing. I would definitely recommend purchasing Adriano's app. Yet anything in the real world can and will happen, it's not always as simple as leaving updates and as you mention. Devs won't simply give their resources away for free; it takes a dev to pick them up and to pay a fee for them. In most cases, I think it's more common to see a new resource created from scratch. Keep in mind that some Dev's have died, others have left in bad ways, but Michael is between this as far as I can tell. Whatever has his focus must be very important to him. I get what you are saying, but it's not something to be expected. It's a gamble on our part; you pay for the resource as it stands and Michael is one of those devs who add features to improve his work without additional fees. Whilst an explanation to say "I am unable to provide updates for the foreseeable future." would be nice. There are no guaranteed expectations. I don't think we as clients have that right either, at least not to demand it. As I say, I get the frustration, but I sway more towards concern than outrage.
  20. Seriously, I searched! I searched 'cache' in the guide and found nothing. Thanks, @Adriano Faria and @Nathan Explosion. It's not very helpful though. What extensions should there be?
  21. I am told it's installed, but the options greyed out to me. I can't find any help files on this.
  22. I have to say, whilst I aim to remain on v5. I do love the design and freshness of the upcoming version; it seems a lot more modern and polished. There's a lot of great work in the product. I'm hoping that there's no real issue down the line with hooks, which gives us more control over where things go etc.
  23. Yes, three levels in depth. You have a parent tab, then a secondary underneath that but after it goes red. You can't have a depth of 3 levels, which means you can't expand on items much further.
  24. I used to have tabs that followed quite an in-depth structure, but I can't replicate this with 4.7.13. Tab -Tab --Tab Item 1 --Tab Item 2 --Tab Item 3 --Tab Item 4 The drop-down option, I don't like. I don't think all visitors will realise you have to press on it. I don't see any means of going beyond the depth of two links. Am I missing something?
