500 error when change PHP version

Your new PHP version is missing the mbstring extension, it may be missing more too. I would recommend running the compatibility checker - Note: PHP 8.0 is not supported at this time.2 points -

Any and every apps on the marketplace is made for the default theme, how are dev suppose to test on every theme? I would think that it is the theme dev that has to follow ips standard.1 point -
I've setup Amazon SES and SNS to the best of my abilities (considering I've never used these services before), but when I try to setup SMTP to point to the Amazon server, I get a "Connection Refused" message from the ACP, and then any emails it attempts to send also get the "Connection Refused" message without further details.. The ACP reported, IPS\Email\Outgoing\Exception: Connection refused (111) I am using Cloudflare, and I did setup the bypass firewall rule for the endpoint, but I'm not even getting that far. I have the right SMTP credentials entered in the ACP:1 point

Any news @TheJackal84 on this update about member goals for 4.5? Update uploaded a few hours ago is for 4.4 When are the new features due? Also on members shop items, seems even though I disable shop items, I can still buy and use them1 point

When I first installed this, I was having issues with the settings I changed not sticking. TAMAN looked into the issue, and found the problem, it was a css issue I had in my custom.css file, which he fixed for me. After doing so, everything was working the way it should. I had some additional questions about how News Ticker worked, and again TAMAN was very quick to reply with all the info I needed. Everything is working and looking great! Top support, top application. Highly recommended.1 point

Good idea, thanks! I'll take a look, this shouldn't take too long.1 point -
I reckon you are looking to create a Utopian type site where all negativity is banned regardless of whether it's warranted or not. It akin to "I like your point of view, as long as it's my view too". Good debate is rarely polite or kind, the essence of rationalised negativity promotes thought and often refers people to re-evaluate their stance in whatever the debate is about. If you remove that element, then you will just have a site full of sheep with no room for the occasional bad egg and everyone who has a different point of view will be barred from asserting their views. I doubt that I1 point

Here in the UK things are going from bad to worse now that a new, more infectious variant of the disease is rampant. According to the scientists this new variant is 70% more transmissible than the original strain. It doesn't make you any more ill and it's no more lethal, just that it spreads much faster. A great proportion of the UK is in tier 4 lockdown (which is basically a full lockdown locally) my own region is in tier 3 with some pretty stringent restrictions. The biggest issue we have here in the UK is people not giving a damn and just doing the opposite of what they are advised1 point

This plugin will hide completely the contents of the ignored members. i.e. when a member ignores another member and selects the Posts options, the content of the posts and topics of the ignored member(s) will be hidden completely from the forum for that member. The same goes in the Activity Feed page, Search Results and ignored members profiles. Also, the name of the ignored member will not show as the last poster either in the topic listing or forum listing. There are no settings for this plugin btw. After you install it, the hidden content of the ignored members will be done automatical$11.991 point -

Yes, I think justification for upgrading outdated third party libraries extends far beyond just the oranges vs lemons design scenario of the icons, it's also about performance and efficiency as well. Bells aside (!), to take perhaps another analogy since the early 20th century the humble car has still had wheels, a motor, seats and lights but mankind didn't stick with the Ford Model T or the 4th era of vehicles because it was essentially the same thing. People upgraded their for cars for aesthetics, safety, security, performance, availability and efficiency when the designers and manufactures1 point -

The reason is essentially that it'd be a big undertaking for us to update to FA5 for relatively little benefit for most customers. Some people (like yourself) would obviously have more need for it, but on the whole the cost/benefit of upgrading is minimal. They do have a migration script but again I'm not convinced it's worthwhile to include that on every site.0 points
