This plugin will hide completely the contents of the ignored members. i.e. when a member ignores another member and selects the Posts options, the content of the posts and topics of the ignored member(s) will be hidden completely from the forum for that member. The same goes in the Activity Feed page, Search Results and ignored members profiles. Also, the name of the ignored member will not show as the last poster either in the topic listing or forum listing. There are no settings for this plugin btw. After you install it, the hidden content of the ignored members will be done automatical

    So much empty space...

My two cents. Some posts with images in my site are flooded with small messages like "nice", "awesome", and post with just a sentence. Would be great if in this scenarios instead of showing the full user data (name, avatar, about, rank, etc) just show the username only. This way you'll avoid a lot of wasted space for small replies. That runs as a background task, and will process 100 members per day. The limit is set in order to now exhaust your free MapQuest API usage. You can manually run the task "locationSync" if you want to make sure it works.

This plugin will allow the admins to limit the number of registrations from the same ip at their forums. Certain ip address(es) can be excluded from the limit. Initially this was included in my [M.A.D] Multiple Accounts Detector app, but I decided to release this as a stand alone plugin as well.

    Menu Manager

For a future update would it be possible to add an 'internal link' feature so that the active state of buttons can be applied. As of now if I want to create a link to a specific category, I have to use the external link option, even though this is actually an internal link; by doing so, as there is no other option, when the menu button is clicked there is no active state showing. I believe the menu manager could be enhanced to both allow internal links and also have the external link buttons made to look active when clicked. With thanks 🙂

    Clubs for directory use

You can use reviews and/or comments. Also you can change the author of the record in the AdminCP. Both core features of Pages. The main reason why we have chosen Pages as the basis for this directory is primarily to ensure compatibility with future IPS updates. In contrast to a standalone application only minor adjustments will be necessary and the future of your directory is secured. We're still beta testing a little bit, but this will be availiable for purchase soon.

  17. As mentioned earlier in the topic, there is a bug when sending private messages to members after X hours. If you set the message to send immediately after signup, nothing bad happens. If you set any delay, it will send the message to everyone. This is a bug, not a missing option. I just hope @Michael.J responds soon, as this can be quite serious.

  18. @optrexnz I had the same problem. It took me hours to fix so I disabled it. I wanted to have a setting or checkbox that could apply to new members only. I'm not using it until that happens cause that ate up 2 hours out of my day! @Michael.J

  23. I noticed a member who had turned on two factor authentication and provided security answers. I don't believe it's security best practices to show these values to anyone looking at the member's account in plaintext, without some sort of action being taken that is logged. For example, a button to view the values that then logs the account who requested to view the values, or even better, only validate that the entered answer matched what the user specified without displaying the values at all. Right now, the answers are available to anyone with permission to view without taking any action

  24. Come on guys, Invision is never going to please us all. And even if they adopted granular ACP theme adjustment tools same as Xenforo has, we'd still need to sit back and adjust dozens and dozens of margin, padding, line height and similar parameters to suit all of our individual tastes. And then you have the menu, which in my view should be docked in an object that can be bound to the DOM either on the server or in a CSOM. But, even if Invision did that, we'd still need to position it ourselves, and move it around depending on the app currently in use. So I say, be careful what you wish for as

    So much empty space...

In 4.5 we've tried to keep headers consistent, so that buttons are where you expect them to be, there's space for additional buttons as each page/app might require, and so that each page/app can extend the data shown in the header without the whole thing breaking down. In 4.4, this was a problem - sure, on perfect example pages, the follow button worked well in the top right. But using a different app where more buttons need to be shown, or even just having a long topic title, suddenly it wasn't so pretty and usable. The new header is designed to be flexible and extensible according to require

Yes, it’s my assessment that this layout is well-thought-out. (The one I commented, which was from Pages) I work as professional web designer for more than 20 years and I customize these Pages templates all the time—inspecting every little detail, checking the flow of content in many situations and at every CSS breakpoint. Of course if you can’t have an open discussion and need to laugh at people just because they say something you don’t agree with, this discussion ends right here. If all you guys can do is judge a web layout in one desktop view, you know very little of web design and hav

  27. A couple things come to mind. 1. My community is going to go crazy. In a bad way because it’s a change. Last time I adjusted the font it was like an atomic bomb hit the site. 2. I really hope these aren’t changes for the sake of changes. Moving the IP address seems like an unnecessary change just to make a change. I hope I’m wrong. Love the software, but get frustrated with major changes because it’s hard to run a business and make future plans without any control. I could sell advertising in a space that suddenly disappears. Not fun.
