  1. Please add the ability to add a poll to a pages record or by itself as a record. I run a news site, forums are not part of a local news site in general, but the ability to add a poll would be fantastic. Since the software is sold now by app basis, pages would be deserving of this ability imo. Thank You

    4.5: Sign in with Apple

I haven't had a chance to upgrade a device to iOS 14 to test with yet, but I did watch the WWDC session on it and under-the-hood it is using WebAuthn so it is probable that my WebAuthn plugin will work for this, or I will be able to update it to do so.

  4. Banning, blocking and moderating problematic users is all well and good, but if the user decides to open a new account and the site's admins can't detect it as a duplicate, all those tools are pretty useless. I saw that through the years there have been a few plugins developed by the community, but I think that this should be a built-in integral functionality of the suite. Also the plugins are currently not available for purchase so I'm salty 😄 What do you guys think? Should we have a built-in tool to help us find and intercept trolls and toxic users? Especially given how fairly sim

  5. Whatever the new view is that shows the first paragraph of each post is super slow to load. I can imagine it would be horrible in production for users. Hopefully this can be sped up. Check this forum as an example.

    Embed Apple Music

I think the “copy link” code can be turned into an auto embed, just like with YouTube. Probably better suited for a third-party plugin though without the oEmbed. But I let Nathan go first. 😉

  10. So I understand your plight but one thing to consider is how do you provide that information when the groups can be modular. Obviously your custom category won't just be available to this specific group, it has to be available to the staff team too and how does IPS determine which is more important in this case? Its not easily defined? What if you have a subscription that includes one set of classes but another that includes that class and a few others (on a deal)? Beta testers? Teachers? They would also possibly have permissions to this category. I will agree that som

  12. @breatheheavy send me a sample link via PM. A third-party embedding site (like iframely) should be able to do this, and I've been playing with adding this to an existing plugin. I can test it out to show you how it will look.

    Embed Apple Music

What would you want to embed? The 30-seconds previews? Looks like that is all they provide. And where do they access this to potentially share it? In iTunes?

  14. As far as I can tell, Apple Music does not actually support Oembed, so it doesn't seem possible until they do.

  16. Sorry. I didn’t understand that. There are no SuperHelp databases. SuperHelp is just styling through templates. The record content is handled through the Pages databases, but dealing with those is not related to the SuperHelp product so you better ask in the peer-to-peer forums.

  17. A few notes on the 4..5 beta; Changing the height of the logo in the Headers and Menus section has no effect. The Purple Palette doesn't show the same gradient on the nav bar as it did on the non-beta version; this was a particularly nice touch that has no effect now. Changing the palette has no effect. The Blue outline on the editor box is horrid and very distracting - it gives a blurred vision effect and it appears there is no corresponding setting in the palette options as there are no matching colors to change this. These are three I've discovered since starting to use

  21. Then you have people that live in the same house, you have people that do share devices because they can't have a computer per person in their house or utilize public locations (like libraries) to register/view a site. No other service gives a flying pig's butt about it, why should you? If the new account isn't causing issues, why does it matter that they have re-registered?

    HOMERUN!

All I really got to say is IPB knocked this one out of the park. HOMERUN! I better add also I'm also really impressed with low bug count in betas. The dev team is organized better than ever.. It's taken some years to get everything on the track it is but I feel it was well worth it and well worth the wait. Should I be giving @Lindy some credit here?? If I do will @Matt pull the Lindy factor line on me? 🤣 This is really such a well rounded product now all the way around. Great awesome job IPB!

    HOMERUN!

I’m excited to come out from behind the scenes to say, Hello! 👋 The IPS team has been incredibly welcoming to me in so many ways! The willingness to try and adopt new processes is passing along better results to you guys! I’m happy to be part of such a driven, hardworking group! Dedicated leadership, a well-rounded team and eager clients have made this year with IPS a great one for me! Thank you for your feedback, @DesignzShop. Keep it coming!

  28. Ah, the plugin which started it all... Hello all - it's been quite a while since I have been on here but I am finding my way back in to the wild now. I've had some issues with my eyes which has severely impacted my ability to do pretty much anything screen related but we've got this under control over the last few months and I've recently been given the OK to get back to my proper day job (I work in IT) as long as I take proper rests instead of ignoring what my head is telling me it needs. Just want to update on what I've now got planned for this plugin - it's been so long since I've

  30. We all view the world through our own filters and biases. Some communities are frustrated that we are not moving PWA forwards because their 90% Android user base could benefit. Some people hate downloading apps and use the PWA option where available. It's natural to see the world through your own eyes and assume we all think alike and all have the same experiences. The reality is that we have tens of thousands of customers who have billions of combined members, so we get a good overview of all needs and wants. I'm not against doing more with PWA in a future version, it's just that

  31. Except the billions who use the apps for Facebook, Twitter, YouTube and so on—every single day. Those are all just “websites”. I also don’t understand why you point out that it’s not “novel” anymore. Things aren’t used just because they are new. They are used because they remain to be useful. Does nobody care about cars anymore because they are so 19th century?

  40. Every day we wait for this is another days lost revenue for UK clients. It might not be critical to you, but it is critical for UK clients. Once a forum is moved to IPS4 this lack of functionality will effectly put that forum out of business if it relies on subscriptions to generate revenue. Can this be escalated please or a workaround found. Thanks in advance

  41. As already pointed out by my colleague, it is on our list and we will get to it, however we have no ETA at present. Please bear in mind that we have 8 applications, and whilst you have not seen any changes in this area as of yet, there have been many changes in other areas of the system. It's not being ignored, its simply not been reached as of yet.
