  1. Invision Community has come a long way over the past five years. We've added many new features and invigorated the front-end user experience to keep it current and in-line with modern interfaces. One area that has remained largely the same is the Admin Control Panel. When we released Invision Community 4.0 back in 2014, the Admin Control Panel was updated but has stayed relatively dormant since. But that's all about to change with the upcoming release of Invision Community 4.5! The Admin Control Panel in 4.5 has received a substantial update, resulting in a

Or something. @Matt promised me that he had enough vegemite to feed the team to do a couple more updates in 4.5. Also, I recommend that you be promoted to our sound mixer for releases. Your "BUM BUM BUM!!!" was on point. Most people will be blind by then due to the ACP, but at least we can listen to you.

  18. If I create a topic called for example: test' è òà.123 asf ..è+[] the url that IP.Board generates will be: /forum/topic/97-test-è-òà123-asf-è/ But by making a copy and pasting on social networks or telegram, the url will become: /forum/topic/97-test-%C3%A8-%C3%B2%C3%A0123-asf-%C3%A8/ not really a nice url. Is a function already available that allows you to change the accented letters in normal letters? so as to have a url: 97-test-e-oa123-asf-e I've already seen the plugin "Translit URL 1.0.2", It would be nice to have a function that does it all by itself, like Laravel's S

  19. You can edit yourself, by going to Go to ACP > Customization > Languages > Then click on Translation Tools, turn on Quick Translating then save. Once done on the main site click what you want to edit type in your new heading/title then once done go back and turn off Quick Translating 🙂 https://player.vimeo.com/video/120014923

  22. Invoices are not generated when someone "looks" at something. They're generated when someone checks out in the cart. A user may abandon the purchase before completing it, at that point, but an invoice and a purchase are two different (albeit related) things.

  29. I think it is just a beginning. It is like a good film, they start slowly with some "unimportant" features, then rise suspense, tension and BUM BUM BUM!!! At the end we have powerful reveal and are happy to have watched it to the end.

  30. Clean, elegant, lightweight. I like it (and I hope the default frontend theme gets a new, modern design, too). 👍

  31. It actually looks very elegant in my opinion. The style reminds me of the early days of IPS before everything became dark and somewhat moody. It's a great look in my opinion

  32. As someone once said... 'If it ain't broke, don't try fix it'. This just seems like change for change sake, and certainly wasn't one of the things which was on my mind when it came to improvements that could have been made to the suite overall. This is not meant as a criticism, more an observation. 🙂

Best theme on the market for my type of community, hands down. I love the features and I love that the author is constantly adding more and improving what's already there. My members love customization and this will help scratch that itch for them when we finally release it. We're also able to get rid of a few old apps/plugins because of the built-in features. The only con I can think of is the renewal price being a tad steep (about half the cost of the theme itself). If the customer service and updates stay consistent, I'd look at it as an investment rather than a cost, but I know

  34. @Askancy, for my forums i've created additional structure with short urls which are good for sharing. For example, instead of this url: https://koreanrandom.com/forum/topic/1644-%D0%BF%D1%80%D0%BE%D1%87%D1%82%D0%B8%D1%82%D0%B5-%D0%BF%D0%B5%D1%80%D0%B5%D0%B4-%D1%81%D0%BE%D0%B7%D0%B4%D0%B0%D0%BD%D0%B8%D0%B5%D0%BC-%D1%82%D0%B5%D0%BC-%D0%BA%D0%B0%D0%BA-%D0%BF%D1%80%D0%B0%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%BB%D1%8C%D0%BD%D0%BE-%D0%B7%D0%B0%D0%B4%D0%B0%D1%82%D1%8C-%D0%B2%D0%BE%D0%BF%D1%80%D0%BE%D1%81-%D0%BF%D0%BE%D0%BB%D0%B5%D0%B7%D0%BD%D1%8B%D0%B5-%D1%81%D0%BE%D0%B2%D0%B5%D1%82%D1%8B-%D0%B4%D0%BB%D1%8F-%D0%BD%D

  38. If referral links were automatically used when the user hit the social "share" buttons there would be a strong incentive to share website content. The current system is pretty much useless. The system should simply allow a property to be added to any link like this: www.mysite.com/community/files/file/43-myfile?referrer=userid Then people have an incentive to click "share" on every blog, image, and other item and your content gets spread across social networks, bringing in more visitors and revenue.

  39. Custom mods already can add additional headers to the output. @header( "Custom-Header: value" ); ;) We don't output until the end of script execution, so you can call header anywhere throughout your custom code. No special API needed.

  40. Here's what you guys can do to make this easy for 3.3 - open up the API somewhere so that custom mods can add additional headers in the http response. Then someone can write a Varnish mod with more precise cache control.
