When a Report comes in they now know why it's being reported. This plugin requires your users to leave a message whenever submitting a REPORT. For those not aware - IPS doesn't require a message when reporting content. Personally, I think this is a crazy move. They gave us the option to create Report Types but not require a message. 😕

    AWS is great, don't get me wrong but it's offerings are not turnkey, it does have some knowledge already implied that you know to setup and use. If you're looking for a great, turnkey SMTP service, there are plenty of options around such as SendGrid, SparkPost, SocketLabs, etc... These all come with support. This means you'll pay a little more but if something goes wrong you're not there stuck looking at documentation you don't understand. Just food for thought. I do applaud you for wanting to learn though!

    Sharing the love 💖 ... This is the first of many FREE apps provided by GT Services. Troubleshooting member's account is what we do on a daily basis. Oftentimes, you Sign in as member to see what they are seeing. To do this, you normally log in to your Admin Control Panel and run a search for the member. Open their account and click Account Actions > Sign In as That's a lot of steps. What's worse is that sometimes the search feature in Admin Control Panel is not successful (eg. special characters in username). All of this takes up a lot of time. Time is money.

    Aha, yes this is due to the same reason of the 1st point... Content is posted as written content, not IFrame like default IPS content. Yes, I got what you mean, The plugin captures og:image, twitter:image, image meta names or properties... If none of them are found it skips it. This is better than capturing image randomly from the page.

    I don't know if this is exactly the same issue as you, but some of my mods have reported since the recent updates that they'll fill out a warning with a predefined reason selected, but after they hit send, the warning has been cleared out with only the default reason selection text there and any attachments that were uploaded. All the other content is deleted. We have a dummy warning reason set first that states "Please select a reason above..." to help guide moderators to do that first before attempting to type inside of the text box. That dummy reason text is what shows up instead of

    Hi, Just discovered that there is a call in IPS\cms\modules\front\database\records::manage.php(237) where you fetch the record image in order to get the image dimensions, This method call alone wastes more than 500ms on every article request that have a record image, which is all of them. We went from ~1.2s to ~550ms by removing this. We're storing our images in an S3 bucket, with CloudFlare as a CDN layer on top of that. getImageDimensions() ignores the CDN layer, and goes straight to the source, and that can cause an issue when the distance between the web server and S3 is far.     This plugin makes it easy and fast to add a marker (badge) to a topic, by placing a button next to the «Reply to this topic»-button. The marker visually stands out, both when viewing the topic and when viewing the forums. It's similar to using tags, but with tags you and your members will have to edit the topic and manually add the tag. Also, unless I’m mistaken, there is no way to restrict a tag to specific forums or members.     This is a minor annoyance since we generally don't need to call it often, but the simple task of creating language strings takes such a long method call \IPS\Member::loggedIn()->language()->addToStack('') I actually have a live template set up for this, but that's a static method call and two consecutive method calls for a common task. It makes sense that we would, under most sane circumstances, always want to add a language string from the current logged in members set language, so defining this method in \IPS\Lang itself seems like a non-issue to me. i.e., \IPS

    Two stars because this application works. But I wouldn't recommend purchasing this if you want actual control over your Discord server. Why? All chat goes through a single bot, which means there aren't separate users accounts (you can't create a Discord account or login with your own) making it impossible to ban trolls or have control over which channels people see. These are only a few examples. The idea behind this app is great, but it's not worth buying until it's got what I consider to be core features it currently lacks.
