    Please add Emoji support

You need to be using MySQL 5.5.3 or higher and have all tables and columns using the utf8mb4 character set. If you are running MySQL 5.5.3 or higher when you install IPS Community Suite or upgrade from IP.Board, you will have the option to use utf8mb4. If you upgrade later, you would need to modify the database manually (there is a good guide here). It would probably be handy to have a script to do this though - I'll bring it up for discussion

  2. I sorted Downloads, Calendar, Blog, Gallery and Nexus (packages in the store). CMS is special so yes, I would just override the second method. Blog descriptions use a special get_description() method already (this is a little newer so perhaps you didn't notice it - if we're not using it properly somewhere let me know).

  3. Have you verified this happens on the default skin as well with all mods turned off? It could be a skin issue.

  4. I've abstracted to a method for the next release to make it simpler to override and add new options.

  5. Hello, applications/core/modules/admin/membersettings/spam.php 'options' => array( 'none' => 'captcha_type_none', 'recaptcha2' => 'captcha_type_recaptcha2', 'recaptcha' => 'captcha_type_recaptcha', 'keycaptcha' => 'captcha_type_keycaptcha' ),

  7. We are using the default skin with colors changed. I just upgraded to 4.1.5.2 and it appears the "Submit New Topic" issue is fixed with the upgrade. Thank you for the tip @Morrigan. However the sign-in issue remains. Can IPS please resolve so the cookies last at least 3 months similar to facebook before needing to sign-in again. The 7 days feature is painful for many members. They keep telling me how they can stay logged in on FB but not on our forums. Please please please fix. @Lindy Thank you

  8. I have also received this message and it is due to the table not being there. Go ahead and hit continue and it will be created. The rest of the install should then be fine.

    4.1 Plugin Request

I'll share what I've done. AdminCP > Customise > Skin Name, Under templates > Core > Front > Global > userBar Or simply search in templates: ipsMenu_item Find: <li class='ipsMenu_title'>{lang="menu_settings_title"}</li> Add below: <li class='ipsMenu_item'><a href='URL TO LINK'>{lang="NAME OF LINK"}</a></li> I'm not sure if this is 100% correct, and I'm sure someone with coding experience could confirm. Remember to change the URL and the NAME OF THE LINK. But this will add extra links to the drop down menu.

  10. On mobile it's a crapshoot when you press in this area if you will get the member page or last post. Especially for people with large thumbs. Perhaps make the entire zone active and go to last post, or somehow address it for both. Thanks!

  11. Seems likely that the unread post link is going to be the one used most often, and should therefore be biggest?

  12. Another problem with that section - showing the avatar isn't much use when folk don't have avatars.

  13. Yes, please do so!

  14. Normal: ips.getString('key') With %s: ips.getString('key', { parameter1, parametr2 etc } ) With pluralize: ips.pluralize( ips.getString( 'key' ), parameter )

  15. That's actually the last post column and if you click that little date under the pic you go to the newest post, which is almost impossible! Almost every time you click the pic and is it also not intuitive. Yes this column needs attention on mobile. I once suggested activating the pic and time as one, so it takes you to the newest post. Who needs to click to a member page from here? Combined it's about the size of a thumb, but having to click the date under it is ridiculous.

  16. It would appear so, they have acknowledged it is an issue, you can ask for an update in that topic if you wish.

  17. The signing out issue is because you have set login cookies to persist for 7 days when remember me is checked (though any time you come back on, your token is refreshed). On Facebook, remember me means that you are remembered for 3 months based on the cookies that I have, and I don't think there are many people who would say that being remembered for a week really counts as "remember me".

  18. Topics merged, as they were not far off identical.

  19. As the support tool instructed, you will need to contact your hosting provider for assistance to investigate this issue.

  20. Just like the IPS4 and official addons, you won't be able to download new versions.

    Forum Logos (Support)

@Mike John - Purchased but unable to edit forums properly without receiving the curse of 'configuration or server error' message. This happens within any forum section since added the 'Forum Logo'. Brilliant app though

    Delete My Account

No, it handles this for applications, but not plugins. Plugins aren't meant to have own extensions, but you're using one here.

  27. Thus I suggest to do this as an option

  28. When images open is lightbox we can enlarge them and fast move from prev to next image. After opening image without lightbox, user should click "Back" button and then page reloads. It's very inconveniently for a community with a lot of pictures and when user want to enlarge 1 more images. Why we can't choose in ACP the way how this images will be opened? I made a suggestion here.

  29. Would be really great. And it would also be very nice if they would add "HTML5 resize before upload", most photos are taken om smartphones and image size keeps increasing.

  30. The memberlist was removed from the default navigation, if you wish to add it back and create a FURL you can. It can be found at: /search/?q=&type=core_members
