Problem with Text Box in Footer

I added the Text box with the script for the "Mark Site Read" button that @Matt posted. When I go to add WYSIWYG widgets either above or below the boxes, they disappear after refreshing the screen.

Here I have added 4 WYSIWYG widgets below the text area.

After the screen is refreshed, I get the following:

No more WYSIWYG widgets.

The WYSIWYG widgets are on my test site, running 5.0, with no problem without the text box being added.

    Is that happening without that custom code being added?

    No, it's only when the custom code is added. I still have my test site up and it works fine without the custom code. That's the bottom image I posted.

    Yeah, it wouldnt really be a bug if its being caused by custom code there

    I'll add this to my "I'm curious as to what is going on" list. It might be the script tag, or it might be something else. Are your ACP details up to date?

    They should be.

    I did try moving the script to the Footer HTML box in the theme customizations and the script worked but, I was unable to edit the added WYSIWYG boxes added to the footer area.
