Also tried FireFox and same problem. I think there may be a problem with the database of something similar. I tried copying over the files this morning and that didn't help.

Are you testing on a default unaltered theme? If so and you are still seeing an issue, please ensure your access details are up to date and we can take a look for you

Could you please clarify where you are seeing this yourself? I ask as you are commenting about testing before going live, on an issue reported on a beta version, which by definition is a test.

I cant replicate this at all locally, and one of my colleagues has also tried. Please could you

• Check and disable any browser extensions you may be running.

• If you still have the problem. please let me know step by step exactly what I can attempt on your site. I need to know exactly which page to test on, what blocks, exactly what is entered and in which order, if possible.

I just had a quick look at your site and was able to post fine.

One thing I did notice is that the Mailerlite form you have on each page may try and grab focus which might be why the editor is having issues. You could try disabling that and seeing if that resolves the issue.

I removed the Mailerlite widget and still have the problem. In fact, I was having the problem before I added the widget. maybe it's a problem with Edge. I just tried Firefox and did not see the problems. In fact, I was able to edit the front page boxes, which I wasn't able to do before.

Hmmm... Let me reinstall Edge and ren scan on my system again and see if that will solve my problme.

Ok, I have no problems with Firefox but Edge is a different story.

Reinstalling Edge didn't help and also dis the ScanDsk and DISM to no avail. I guess the next step is to reinstall Win11 and start anew.

I would recommend following these instructions, it's not clear what you're doing to reproduce this issue. First off, it read like you were experiencing the issue creating a topic or replying to a post but now maybe it's an issue using a specific widget?

Any place on the Site where there is a text entry box, (widgets, forums, editor, etc...) when I start to enter text, the first character is dropped. For instance, 'I Start a New Topic' and start typing, say my name. When I type "D", the character does not show but, a LF is entered, and the cursor moves to the next line and then 'ennis' is typed. The rest of the topic is typed fine. If I enter a list of any type, it displays fine until I save it leave the page and then go back. Sometimes I can see it and sometimes not. If any other user types a list, all I can see are the bullets.

I've come to the conclusion that my problem is with Edge on my system. I have not had any users report any problems.

It's Edge. I just installed Chrome and like Firefox, no problems.

Looks like it wasn't Invision Community after all.

Yup, I just discovered the problem. It was my ad blocker that I had been using for well over a year. Back on April 26, it somehow added a custom filer for my site. it was blocking quite a bit of my site.

Nope, it was not Invision. please mark this one fixed.

Even if it's not an Invision problem, I feel it's always good to post. Sometime, somewhere down the line, someone may have the same problem, and it will save them a ton of time and anguish is they stumble across this thread. I've been running IPB since 2002 and you're always come through.
