Fluid View’s Forum filter doesn’t refresh the page in one scenario

I’m using Fluid View for browsing the topics index on my iPhone 16 Pro Max. I also am using the PWA, but I don’t think this is involved in this UI bug.

The problem is when I click on a forum in the list of topics. The list is now filtered by that one forum, which is the correct behavior.

But, when I want to reset the current filter by clicking on the “Showing 1 forum” and deselecting the one checked forum. The forum filter does change to “Showing all forums”, but the topic list still only shows the topics in the single forum.

The reload of the page is missing.

Everything works fine if the single forum had been selected in the “Showing” dialog and then unchecked. But it doesn’t work correctly if tapping a forum link in the listing.

So, bug is a missing reload of the page in this one scenario.

    You’re saying the page reload is missing - does that mean that if you reload the page, it’s fine?

    Yes.

    Before today, it wouldn’t ever reset the filter to show all without explicitly checking all forums.

    But I think you may have fixed that issue this week, but this one little bug remains.

    Only if I implicitly set the filter to show one forum by clicking on the forum link in the topics list is there a missing reload after unselecting that forum in the filter.

    So, things have gotten better but just need an automatic page reload for this one edge case.

    It may be the case that this is a timing bug only seen on fast iPhones like my 16 Pro Max.
