@Matt i am a bit confused here , maybe i dont understand completely but when you download the eng default lang file isnt it suppose to be all lang keys in the suite then ??

My custom phrases is there but no default language keys from the apps

No, it would only contain custom items

Please provide the default English XML file with all 'custom items' included as duplicates of the corresponding 'default items'. This is necessary to enable translators to work with languages outside the AdminCP.

Manually translating each item within the AdminCP presents a significant challenge.

If you want complete xml file to translate . and yes it's a big task .
