This is an issue specific to you, rather than a bug. If the system is unable to unpack the files, this is server configuration. Usually an issue with writing to the tmp location.

What version of PHP are you using? I remember having this issue with IPS v4, and it was due to the server's PHP version.

maybe try to reupload those files manually and recheck files and folders permissions 🤔 https://invisioncommunity.com/4guides/advanced-options/configuration-options/controlling-file-and-folder-permissions-r279/

well , work locally on localhost and maybe mamp pro is fancy because i get new things happend every time i install or upgrade , but sure is permission is NOT the issue here . strange is things going alot better using chrome instead of safari . safari sucks this days in many ways . but thanks for your input

PS' Have download the files and reupload them many times without success

When click upgrade it going through all almost to the end and then tell me download files and manually upload them but if i click upgrade again from beginning it start upgrading successfully ass it should . i have ee other have similar problem as me regarding the files ... so worth checking whats going on .

See my photos above , nothing is wrong about permission
