  1. Past hour
  2. Marc, thank you. Issue has resolved itself, unless you clicked a button. The issue was brought to my attention yesterday by a manager, and until this morning (8 hours ago), it didn't seem to work. But now it does. I don't really have an explanation -all the settings I changed, I then reset. But the browser, MS Edge, I see took 5 min to update a new post to the recent posts section today, despite refresh clicks and shift+F5. Open Club reply posts now appear in recent posts on the front page. Thanks again.
  3. I'm having trouble doing this. Did you ever get a solution? @Alexandru
  4. Today
  5. There are settings for format specific compression/quality in your ACP => System => Files => Image Settings.
  6. Hey guys, A very simple question, when images are uploaded to the IPS suite, is any form of compression undertaken? I am trying to eliminate an issue where clear uploaded images to the site (through adminCP as part of a custom award app) are appearing as it they are a lower definition. Of course this can be a server side setting or even the app in question, but I just want to remove IPS as a factor or indeed ad it as a factor for investigation. Many thanks, P
  7. Please let me know the name of the club, and I can then take a look for you
  8. An open club should indeed show throughout the community. Are you having issues with that? Are you running the latest release?
  9. Hi Marc. No, this is what I mean: If I set a Club to "Public" a non-member of this Club can see all posts (Opening Post + replies) in the main forum Post (or Topic) Feed. However, there is no Membership for this specific type of club and anyone can reply without being a member of the club. If I set a Club to "Open" only members of the Club can see all posts (Opening Post + replies) in the main forum Post/Topic Feed. There is a Membership for this specific type of club. When I set Clubs/Settings/ Show Club Content Areas to "Throughout the Community" a non-member of this Club can see newly started threads in the main forum Topic Feed, but no follow-up posts in the main forum Post feed. I'd like to have the option to have "Open" Clubs with reply posts also visible in the main forum Post Feed, as a membership recruitment drive for the Clubs in question (so that everyone sees the activity there), while maintaining their membership lists and requirement to be a member to reply. I hope that makes more sense.
  10. I found things from a couple of years ago that I have there and that I didn't remember. Apparently, I have room for a few more projects... I'll continue later. Thanks for the moment.
  11. Ive tagged developers in the first instance to see if this is anything intentional
  12. Thats something you would need to consult with google on if needed. Last I looked there was only a cost over so many uses
  13. This is the same image as the black image, but the data is from IPS. (I had to translate and shorten the "View all photo EXIF information" title to prevent the text from overlapping the "x" that closes the modal on devices with small screens.)
  14. Thank you for bringing this issue to our attention! I can confirm this should be further reviewed and I have logged an internal bug report for our development team to investigate and address as necessary, in a future maintenance release.
  15. You need to check the 'enabled APIs and Services' section, as the only way they wouldnt show, is if they are not enabled
  16. Its not something we have at present on the new editor, but its certainly an interesting idea.
  17. A post feed will include all public posts by default. You mention you are only seeing the first post of a topic. That sounds like you are using the topic feed rather than the post feed
  18. You mention you check another photo. Please could you check the same photo
  19. I could have told you it was anything then 😄
  20. The above 2 are the only 2 things it can really be. Given you can upload here, I suspect this is probably the latter
  21. A pity. There is no sense creating one for IPS4 anymore. What do you think, will it be possible to create such an app in IPS5? There can be no limits on content types: forum topics, blogs or blog entries, calendar events, download files, gallery images or albums, clubs, records from Pages databases. The review step should be mandatory, though. There should be no possibility to pay for something that is rejected by the community policy.
  22. This would definitely require a 3rd party app.
  23. This could also be an issue with the server’s image handler (imagemagik or GD). You might try switching whichever is being used to the other.
  24. I am looking for a possibility to offer paid articles on the site. The workflow is simple. The user creates an article in Pages database. It is hidden for all except for staff (pre-moderation). We (the staff) review the article. If it suits, the user can pay. The invoice should be generated. After the payment is completed, the article is instantly shown on the site. It should be a one-time-payment per article. If user submits another article, go to step 1. The challenge: The user should only be able to pay for the articles, we have reviewed. The invoice should be generated automatically upon reviewing of the article (status: reviewed). Is the invoice paid, the article should be instantly shown. Any idea of how to build the process with IPS Commerce?
  25. The only difference I see is a watermark. No watermark here, but one on your forum. Can you switch off the watermark on your forum to see if it causes an issue?
