Hi,

I'm using IPS 5.x and I've noticed that the Images Widget (carousel) no auto-plays anymore. The slides stay static unless the user clicks the arrows manually.

I've looked through the widget settings but couldn’t find any option to enable automatic playback or slide rotation.

Is auto-play no longer supported in v5.x? Or is there a new setting or method to re-enable it?

Thanks in advance for any help or clarification!

It was actually extended. This is how it is activated in the page manager:

I don’t see anything like that. Could you clarify where those icons are located?

I’m attaching a screenshot of what I see when I try to edit the block I’m using. There are only three tabs, each with its own settings, but I can’t find the options you mentioned — or maybe I’m just missing something obvious.

Perhaps you're referring to a different widget or block?

Thanks in advance for the clarification!

Oh, the Pages custom image block. I don’t think that has animation in 5.x. The feed blocks have animation though, including image feeds from the Gallery app.

Thanks again for the suggestion!

I’ve started testing with the Gallery image feed block, but I’m running into a couple of issues:

Text still appears under each image (title, description, etc.). I’d like to display only the images, with no text or overlay. Is there a way to hide the text completely?

Even though I’ve set it to display 5 images, the carousel moves one image at a time, not in groups. It looks a bit odd visually.

I've tried changing the Image number and the "Offset" values, but they don’t seem to affect the layout or behavior in the way I expected.

Would really appreciate any tips on how to get a clean, image-only auto-playing carousel.
