A user is getting this when they try to sign up and create a new account:

Security check

URL of your website is incorrect, please check the URL of your website at www.keycaptcha.com

Anyone ever seen this before?

It’s probably because of your server move. Make sure the URL set up with Keycaptcha hasn’t changed and wait for the completion of the DNS propagation.

Yea, I changed both servers and hosting companies. My URL did not change...I just downloaded the database/files and uploaded at my new hosting company... every thing went smoothly for the most part. My website is working fine....DNS propagation is done...I think.

I went to www.keycaptcha.com and don't see a way to check the URL to my website?

You will need to login to their user area where you created your key with them.

Ummm, I did not create a key with them. This always seemed to work fine in the past....Is this something new? A new version?

Thanks.

Keycaptcha was always one which was on the user to create a key for, I'm afraid.

Hi @Woofee,

Just a side note, it may be ideal to consider using hCaptcha. I have been using it since the release of v5 on my live community and have only seen two spam accounts make it through successfully. Luckily, I permanently banned them before anything could be posted. 😎

OK will do, thanks!

Yeah, for a while I hadn't been requiring registration to post and tehn I got slammed with spam posts...hundreds and nundres...

hCaptcha does require the registration of an account on their site (much like keyCAPTCHA), but the free plan does provide up to 100,000 requests per month. 👌
