Hi,

Had some users reporting the following. Tried searching for other comments or release notes but can't see anything related to it.

Is it a device issue or has anyone else brought this up please.

On Safari on iPhone, about 50% of the time none of the arrows at the bottom of a page saying 'page... of...' work, so I have to refresh the page and hope it'll eventually let me navigate.

Maybe due to the fact the area size for clicking links seems to have gotten smaller but yeah it's quite a nuisance

And the 'PREV' and 'NEXT' buttons also

On your community, I am seeing some errors in the browser console which are impacting some Javascript. You may wish to remove advertisement Javascript or any other custom Javascript whether that is something you injected yourself into the layout or also third party applications.

thanks for the reply.

We only updated to v5 around 3 days ago and using stock ad blocks with provided code from our ad partner (there may be some javascript on them idk)

The only javascript I changed was to add option to allow spoiler boxes today and the issue was present before that.

iirc the issue was present before I figured out how to put the ads back on the site

Aside from that only changed the colour palette on the stock themes

Just saying incase there's something weird going on with ours

The ads would indeed have Javascript on them and what we're seeing. I would recommend disabling/removing it all to test again. Once you do that, I am happy to take another look as well.

thanks. I've disabled all ads and removed the header code.

People were saying this was happening on iphones using safari

Have you tested this after removing the header code?

I can't really replicate it myself. Have removed it and asked if it's still happening for the people who mentioned it.

@Marc @Jim M removing the ads and header code seems to have sorted it,

This was only affecting the pagination buttons at the bottom of the page

We need the ads back on, so any assistance or advice would be useful please before we contact our ad partner. They will just say "the code is the code" 😞

Sorry to hear you're having issues there. You would need to contact your ad provider if your ads are causing you issue, unfortunately. We're not able to assist with issues caused by a 3rd party
