I've noticed that certain uploaded videos have stopped working since we upgraded to v5 the other day, while others are perfectly fine. I've checked with other users and we're having this problem on a variety of browsers: Firefox, Chrome, Safari, etc.

I searched these forums and saw that several others have had similar issues, but I couldn't find any suggestions on how to fix the problem. Any ideas? Thanks!

For reference, here's what we see -- no image, and the timeline stuck at 0:00:

I should add that the uploaded videos are still attached to the posts, so that we can manually go in and re-insert them, but there are so many affected, it would require a huge effort to do every one.

Can you go into post and click on 3 dots ... and Edit Post then Source and copy the code and post here please

Hmm. I seem to have lost the ability to view source code now, and can't find a way to restore it.

In any case, here's what I see when I try to edit the post. As I mentioned, the original video is still there, and I can easily re-add it to the post. But I don't want to have to try to do that for literally hundreds of posts.

There is no "source" on the editor on version 5, which I believe if what you were looking for there. Please provide a link to one of these items so we can take a look

I used to be able to toggle back and forth between source code and regular view - so there's no option for that now?

In any case, here are a few links where we're having the problem:

There is no source button on version 5, no.

Do you have any background tasks still running in your admin CP?

No. They seem to be all done.

Thanks for that info. I've moved your issue to a ticket so that we can investigate it more closely. Please watch your email for further correspondence.

I am getting the same issue but videos play for about 1 minute then just drop out.

How to fix this issue.

On previous versions this has never been an issue.

Do you have an example URL? If they are playing for a minute and then there is an issue, sounds like there may be a connection or browser issue.
