Invision Community 4: SEO, prepare for v5 and dormant account notifications Matt November 11, 2024Nov 11
Posted Friday at 10:52 PM4 days Community Expert Hello. I have pages whose displayed content is on a database. Since IPB v5, it is no longer possible to post a comment on these pages. Even people in the “Administrator” group are experiencing this problem. The comment entry field at the bottom of the page is there, but when you enter a comment and then click on “Send comment”, the word “registration” appears very briefly on the button, but then it displays “Send comment” again, and the comment entered is still present in the entry field without having been posted. I've cleared the cache and deactivated all third-party applications, but the problem persists 😐

The bug only occurs when there are no comments on the page and the one you try to post is the first.2) Previously, each time a new record was added to this database, a topic was published on the forum. I've now disabled this option. I'll mention it just in case, but I don't think it's the cause of the bug.
