Invision Community 4: SEO, prepare for v5 and dormant account notifications Matt November 11, 2024Nov 11
Posted Friday at 07:25 AM5 days Hi Folks,I've recently decided to ditch wordpress for my new website and forums and have a question about the default "homepage". How can I remove the default block shown in the first screenshot (area where the arrows are)?Screenshot 2 shows the block below I have which is an article feed - this is what I want solely on the homepage as the default block is ordering articles in order of oldest > newest whilst the block I've added is in newest > oldest and expected behaviour of a blogAlso ignore the license invalid message - I have changed from forum.ctrlaltreview.com to simply ctrlaltreview.com and I've already used my free URL change (have emailed support to change without fee if possible)

You should do it the other way around: Remove the feed block you placed below the main content and then change the look of the actual record list to match the rows look you want. You can do that in the settings for the database.

Edit - for future me / others in the same boat then opentype’s advice works a treat. Simply go to the database via the ACP and click edit > display > field options > change to descending
