But it only displays the birthdays of members who have entered their date of birth without specifying the year. If the year is entered, then their birthday is not displayed in the widget on the day they were born.

If the year is entered, then their birthday is not displayed in the widget on the day they were born.I haven't looked into this, but from what you are saying it looks like this could be a bug.
