I have a post titled Spriggan, but it shows three results. Even when I filter by 'Search titles only,' I still get the same result. I have two test replies with the text 'test' in this topic, and it seems they are being counted as well. I made two more replies to the topic, and now I have five results. Why i cannot filter to show results only of topics made with that name, but instead i'm getting results of the replies into that topic too. If there are hundred of replies to the topic, it will show hundred of results and looks like i cannot filter it to show only the topic's name.

That is correct, as per how it works at present. Search looks for the posts, gallery items, comments etc, and shows those. So in terms of a topic with 5 replies, if you search title only, each of those replies are in a topic of which has spriggan as the title.

Is it possible or plans to be updated to search only by topic titles, without including replies? Seeing all the replies can get overwhelming and makes it harder to keep track of what you're actually looking for over time, as it has those advanced search functions to pick Only what yo search.

You would need some customisation ( probably a fair amount of) in order to achieve something like that within the search function
