Posted April 29Apr 29 I am currently building my site on a subdomain. My main domain is otaku.bg, and right now I’m using the subdomain otakumanga.otaku.bg to set everything up. When I’m ready, I will ask my hosting provider to switch my site from the subdomain to the main domain. However, what steps do I need to take afterwards in the Invision Community settings to make sure everything works properly and there are no broken images or issues? For example, at the moment, uploaded images in posts are linked like this:"https://otakumanga.otaku.bg/uploads/monthly_2025_04/1656139318_9776426.thumb.jpg.847e39da661a56d925fb7c8d9b49d096.jpg".Will these links automatically update to otaku.bg/uploads/... without the "otakumanga" subdomain in the URL, or do I need to manually fix something?
April 29Apr 29 Community Expert You must change the forum url at your conf_global.php file as well add any redirects from your previous url to the new url. Another thing is to check your storage settings to see if you're using any hard coded custom urls. That can be found at Admin Panel->System->Files. You will have to change the license url as well at your Client Area. Edited April 29Apr 29 by Miss_B
