I have, very old version of IPS 4.0.13.1

And it say that I have modified files

• /srv/www/staging/public_html/system/3rd_party/Minify/lib/Minify/ClosureCompiler.php

Maybe someone would be able to share me those few files, I would be really glad.

Eventually if someone could share me 4.1.19.4 of IPS.

I don't think that it's possible. Even if someone could share the version that you want with you, they are tied to a specific license and you won't be able to use them. Why not upgrade your forum to the latest version, if I may ask?

We have custom auth application which completely restrict us from upgrading beyond 4.1.x.x.

So maybe hire a dev to upgrade it? :)

I would suggest restoring those files from a backup in that scenario. We do not have downloads available for old versions of the platform.

Is this causing you some specific issues, other than it telling you? I ask as it may well be an issue in that version itself, as there have been many many many fixes since that release. If not, and you are not upgraded, I would simply leave it be.

In terms of the upgrade to the latest 4, I would advise on getting that done as soon as possible and getting someone to update your auth application. I say this as you are currently behind by quite a considerable number of versions. To put into context how far, you are

• 68 releases behind, just on version 4

• You are one complete rewrite, and 6 major releases behind

• There have been 16 security releases

• Your version doesn't actually even support a supported PHP release

So your site, at present, is very very open to security issues.

I thought it would be possible to do something else than upgrade to latest version.

We don't have a backup, since we got it as-is from other person.

We not notice any major issues, just simple bugs there and there.

That application allow upgrade to 4.1 too, but since i cannot obtain files anywhere then looks like we are cooked at this point...

We are not much interested in hiring developer, since it would require upgrading also lot of internal systems, which we cannot upgrade at this moment.

Your forum version contains several security issues, which have been fixed in the latest version. Not to mention the fact that you are also running an outdated php version that has many security issues as well. Security wise, keeping everything up to dated is the best practice imo.

It's running on dedicated server, not hosting by the way. I have complete access, but files and database dump i got as-is, now we trying integrate it anyhow.

Outdated PHP is also not our main concern, but we are aware, we have special builds of PHP which contains security backports from newer versions.

All we really need for now is the unmodified files for comparison, or complete 4.1.19.4 package, from what i only seen only init.php contains specific license md5 checksums which are generated after download from customer area, so i think its not that not possible at least technical wise, provide such package, there is only Invision Team will to provide it.

It anyway been side project, and new likely we will run on latest 4.7.20.

So thank everyone for some help regarding this, we can close the thread i think.
