I am contemplating setting up a RSS feed and exploring the feasibility of it. I am experimenting with a Google feed and the feed wants to bold the keyword in the title. Like such; This is my <b>thread</b> title.

Is there a way to strip that formatting from the title?

There is nothing within the core software that would do that on importing an RSS feed, unfortunately. You would need something custom for that.
