Posted April 16Apr 16 Is there a specific place to browse and find modules for our Invision installation?Or anywhere to get recommendations for whatever needs or wishes we have? For example, is there a module that could pull members' locations and pin them on a map? If I need something like that, where would I search?

This lets the users put their pins, and not pull the information from the database. But i'll reach out. Thanks for the link to that "marketplace" that I can browse through.

April 16Apr 16 I do miss the marketplace here. I understand the reasoning but it would be nice if they could still be listed here with no downloadable files or purchasing through here. When you click buy now or whatever it takes you to the file on the authors site to purchase. I’ll be honest the Providers Directory isn’t really that great or helpful at least not for me.

April 17Apr 17 I'm going to say now – something that maybe the developers are a bit cautious about saying – that I don't understand why the marketplace is gone.It was like a one-stop shop. It was like a modern supermarket we could go in and see everything that was available and keep yourself up-to-date in a timesaving and efficient way.Now it's like having to travel around the country to see what's going on. Easy to miss things, time-consuming,I don't see any upside to getting rid of the marketplace.I expect that the third-party developers probably feel the same way although maybe they would prefer not to speak out about it Edited April 17Apr 17 by BankFodder

In fact Actually it was spoke up about quite loudly and by many at the time of its closing.19 minutes ago, BankFodder said:I expect that the third-party developers probably feel the same way although maybe they would prefer not to speak out about itThe reality is, it was run at an increasing cost to us as the hosts of that marketplace. It took time from developers in ensuring the quality of items that were on our own site, there were increasing costs associated with things like chargebacks, disputes we had to deal with, and more. All of which were at the cost, not only in monetary value, but time taken out of support from our core product, and development of our core product. The alternative would be to considerably increase the charges to 3rd party providers (of course in turn meaning many would have simply left anyway, in an already declining pool of people), or close the marketplace altogether.
