Is there a way to add a custom CSS class to a table from the new editor? If we cannot, could we add as a feature request?

I want to make some tables sortable and I did this by adding a CSS class editing the HTML. Sth that we cannot do nowadays :-/

Are you talking about globally, or on a per table basis? I ask as if its globally then you would add CSS to your theme

Per table basis. I have several articles published where I wanted to add the sortable option. Is there a way to customize a CSS class to a specific table?

Also, maybe this is sth that in a future could IPS include native. An option to add sortable feature to tables.

There is no way in which to do that at present. Just wanted to check and make sure it wasnt something I could tell you how to easily sort :)

I know that we want to expand our table functionality in later releases, this will likely be possible at some point.
