Posted March 20Mar 20 Hello,I would like to download the latest version that is compatible with php 7.4 but I can not find a way to do so. I can download only the latest version and that needs php 8.0. I can not upgrade the version of php from my server but I want to upgrade the forum to a more secured version.
March 20Mar 20 Community Expert Only the latest release of 4 and 5 is able to be downloaded, so there is no way in which to do this. Its worth pointing out, your reason for upgrading to the last release that supported 7.4 is actually a moot point, as any version that supported 7.4 has had known security issues resolved in later releases. Also PHP 7.4 is no longer supported for security fixes. If you are unable to update to PHP 8.1 at least on your server, it would be worth looking into a new host

I will echo the suggestion above, to find a new host that supports the latest version(s) of php.
