Updated to 5.0.4 today and get: HTTP ERROR 500. My site is selfhosted.

If you are getting an internal server error, please check your server error logs in the first instance, and let us know what error is being logged

I'm getting the same. I'm sick of this v5. It's like a live beta. Stuff is constantly broken, and there are bugs everywhere.

It will be an addon. go to your admin area it still works, turn off your addons and slowly turn each one on until you find the one that's causing you issues. Keep it off until the creator has updated it. For me. it's quizzes.

These 2 statements somewhat contradict eachother. We dont control the 3rd party items that you add to your site.

I'm not sitting here arguing with you.

However, they are two separate statements. v5 was clearly rushed out for release. You can tell this by simply looking at the bugs logged during beta and the timing of the release. From my personal experience and that of my users, at the time of release, there were some clear bugs (and still are). As I said in my previous post, it feels like it's been released, and you're just doing a live beta and fixing it where we can as quickly as possible. That sounds good on paper, but this affects end users, the ability to post quality content, etc., which comes back on us as owners and you as developers.

You may not like what I have said, but it's my opinion, and I'm entitled to it.

All software is a live beta. All software has bugs.

We had three betas before this final release to fix anything critical. There will be another release next week.

I bought my son a PS5 game and by the time he put the disc into the machine, there was a 5gb update he had to download to fix bugs.

I found the error, it was the Link Directory app, i have disabled it now and i am online again...
