Posted March 20Mar 20 I allow readers to upload their own photos and videos to my forum. Right now, the largest file size that I allow Users to upload is 10 mb. Is that too big? Too small? I would assume that if somebody creates a thread and uploads a large file to it and then several readers upload large files to that thread, when another reader comes along and clicks on that thread the thread itself will become visible almost immediately but the contents ---- those large files ---- will take a while to appear, and that the more of those large files that are on any given thread, the longer that thread will take to completely "materialize." Is that understanding correct? Edited March 20Mar 20 by Jac D
March 20Mar 20 Community Expert Thumbnails are what is shown initially, as opentype mentions above. So it shouldnt affect the opening of pages, no. Only when someone actually chooses to view/download that larger file
