I was looking at the database and noticed that it did not seem to have repeater fields or am I just old and blind (it's possible)

I want to build out a database that will need a repeater field so users can upload many episode titles.

Database fields are fixed (except image uploads). For more complex situations, you can combine multiple databases and link between them, e.g. a book database which links to multiple authors for one book record. The downside is that there is no proper workflow to add this data at once. One would have to go through the databases in reverse to have the data available to link to it.
