Hello,

A member has been charged twice on Stripe in the renewal of his membership. There is a single invoice charged in ACP but two charges were made in Stripe 3 minutes apart. I don't understand what went wrong. This has never ever happened in years.

There are a few strange issues since I moved the site to the cloud. This is just one of them that has never happened in years in my self-hosted community.

As you can see, there is a single invoice as in previous months, but it was charged twice.

Do you have a test environment running anywhere?

Is your self-hosted version still running since you've converted to Cloud? If so, this would likely trigger what you're seeing.

Yes, my self-hosted files are still there. I wanted to keep the files there JUST in case.

What should I do in order to avoid this without removing the files from my server? Anything I have to disable? Cron job maybe? I just want to have a copy of everything and I don't want to lose the files.

Thanks

Cron job maybe?

Yes.

Yes.

I've deleted the cron job in my dedicated server, the one I had to set for ACP to run properly. I guess this will fix the duplicate invoices issue since now only the cloud's cron job will be executed. I hope I'm right in my thinking process. Thanks

I'd probably just remove the instance on your self hosting completely. That way there is no way it can possibly run anything. However if you are keeping it there for some reason, you should change your stripe keys to your test keys
