When I'm almost ready to send a Bulk Mail, I go to the Member Filters tab and select only "Admin", to send only 1 email to myself. I keep every other Member Filters neutral (set to 'any').

For the first time today, when I try that I get:

A filter likely is excluding yourself or you unsubscribe to admin emails. You will need to check both.

You are right (of course): I hadn't selected 'Email' as a notification for the newsletter in my own notification settings. Must have deselected it at some point while doing some tests.
